I would leave zero stars if I could. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. after menopause and illness it has been extremely challenging to lose weight. i have had success with Phentermine in the past so went to this business to help me with medicine assisted weight loss. they were happy to take my money for initial visit and then told me after that they were not really a fan of Phentermine and would not continue to prescribe it. Additionally, on the first month check in (at 3 weeks) the doctor told me I had not done a good job and needed to do more because I 'only' lost 2 lbs a week. I worked really hard to do that and was so discouraged and defeated by this. I tried not to let it affect me, but it derailed me because I felt like nothing I was doing was good enough and he was going to be nasty to me again. Not supportive or encouraging- more interested in hearing himself talk than listening to me. Sage advice like wear a Fitbit- which I already do. It is obvious that the main goal of this place is to push the hormone therapy. If you aren't interested in that- don't go here. Front office staff are lovely. I have worked with diet doctors before, and they were wonderful. There is no reason to put up with this - go elsewhere. I won't support this business with my money. read more

As you get older you find yourself feeling weird or waking up to unknown aches, well thank you Jesus that's not me yet! Lol but I did seek this place on someone's recommendation (here I go with people's word again) to get B12 shots. They specialize in hormone therapy and weight lost. Not needing either, the Dr did not push me to get unnecessary treatments. I solely came for B12 shots and after drawing and testing my blood, I was good for the shots. I saw other people coming in and mentioned they lost like 35 pounds in 4 months and they are feeling good again! A lot of us who are not feeling "quite so well" but never thought of hormones may be a contributing factor, then this place might be for you. I went in on Nov 16th to have a consultation for the blood work I had done. I really needed the thyroid medicine, but they said, they could not give it to me unless I did the pellets too. It was the whole hormone balancing thing. I reluctantly had them put the pellets in. I have had no hot flashes, but I just started to bleed a few days heavily! I do not want my periods back! I just wanted some of the other symptoms relieved. Having a period means, I may have gotten too much estrogen given in the pellet which I am super bummed about. I won't go in for a second pellet insertion, but will drive up to Ohio to the Happy Hormone Cottage, where they do all compounded bases creams. This may work for some women, but I don't think it is a fit for me. read more
