(912) 289-2023 in May 2024 after being referred by my Medicare Advantage Plan and having a recommendation made by my ENT doctor after multiple myringotomy surgeries (ear tubes) for a combination of neurological and conductive hearing loss and a retracted eardrum that I would ultimately have better hearing results with hearing aids. I've had persistent difficulties following conversations, kept asking people to repeat themselves in person and on the phone and couldn't always understand the TV. I met with audiologist Storman Glass who was very personable and patient and who performed an in-depth audiological exam and he recommended Resound GNR Model KE361-DRW hearing aids for both ears, and honestly, I couldn't be more pleased. I was a bit reluctant to wear hearing aids, but vanity shouldn't play a part in regaining one of your senses, right?. My worries were unfounded, these hearing aids are so small and fit so well nobody has noticed I have them, and being female, my hair covers the portion behind the ear. I forget I have them in until I realize I can hear so well, the small sounds like birds chirping, bees humming, the clock ticking, and other tiny sounds I've been missing for years. By the way, these aren't your grandparents' old fashioned clunky hearing aids, these are small and exceptional in design and function and I was so extremely happy that I could actually HEAR again I broke down and started crying in Mr. Glass' office. He just handed me a Kleenex and grinned and said he was glad I was happy. Mr. Glass is an exceptional audiologist---he's extremely intelligent, friendly and patient, takes the time to explain everything and showed me how to change the batteries, fit them into my ears, and clean them, and they come with a warranty against oss or damage and a large supply of batteries. I'm SO happy with my hearing aids, and with the treatment and care I received at Elite Hearing Centers. Storman Glass is a credit to his profession and he's a lot of fun to converse with! I just regret I waited so long to get hearing aids, since they've made a huge difference now when I talk to people and can understand what they say, I can hear the TV and radio, and hear myself when I play guitar.
