The office she maintains with her husband is very well run and I am always taken promptly. She also takes care of my "female exams" and is painless (thanks). This office has a calm relaxed atmosphere; while other seem very tense. Although they did not take insurance at first they now take the major ones in the area; as well as Medicare. I have seen Dr. Samuel once -- for an earache when his wife was out of the office and he prescribed some medicine which did wonders. You will find me with them for a long time. A couple who have 5 boys; 6 to 16 must have endless patience.

That was my first red flagI showed up for my appointment and I'm the only one there, a lady looks at me and looks back down at her computer, seriously, no good morning or anything, so I said it instead to get her attention, I'm not feeling it at this point. It did not even resemble a Dr's office at all. They took my records and ID and came back to say they didn't take my insurance, my insurance is very common and thru the military!! So I asked for my things back. I could hear the " "Dr." in the background around the corner telling the girls what to say, how unprofessional can you be!!!! It took over 21/2 hours to get this appointment done. This is the second time this has happened to my family at this location. It doesn't make sense to make an appointment, and it take all day.

I had two appointments with him pre-surgery and he put me quite at ease with his bedside manner and competency. His staff was very nice and they too expressed that if they needed the surgery they would trust him to take care of them. So surgery was last Friday at UF North and of course like most doctors things were running behind so I had to wait my turn. No big deal except for being hungry. When it was time for surgery the anesthesia doctors were very nice and explained everything. I had a nerve block and then some sleepy time meds and the next thing you know I was done and in recovery asking for some snacks and ginger ale. The recovery nurse was so nice, she said I have chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin granola bars and my response was YES! She started laughing. I won't go into the pain etc, you can go to YouTube and see all the whiners about that stuff. One thing for sure, all this velcro on this sling and sling fanny pack thing is itchy as hell and someone should come up with something to cover this crap. Not sure using pantyliners is outdoor acceptable, but kitchen towels are too heavy and scarfs are too hot. Velcro...my only complaint!
