They have recently taken on the ear, nose and throat services from a local hospital and that has caused them to expand and add staff. Easy parking and easy to get into. Modern office and easy to find your way around. I feel the NP I work with cares about me personally and not just as a customer or account. She takes the time to see how I'm doing and engage on a personal level. At one point when I raised an issue that was not here area of expertise she did't just blow me off, she went and found another doctor and saw things through to ensure I was getting the support I needed.

First he told us the temporary ones could be worn "home today" and exchange them for the permanent ones he will order in about a week. Today when the payment was made, suddenly the temporary ones aren't available. When questioned, he acknowledged he promised this BUT, we must have misunderstood. So when we went to cancel the entire transaction, he suddenly could provide temporary ones. When he realized we were canceling the entire order, now he has the exact ones I need in back today...no need to order! How convenient. He even followed us out into the parking lot as we were in our car leaving the parking lot and still tried to get us to come back. I called another store, in a town 100 miles away to get the corporate number. This store said they had heard "bad things happening at that Joplin store"... Buyer beware.

I mentioned that the cusps on my molars are sharp and pointed and are cutting my tongue. She told me insurance won't cover it and just blew it off. I tried to discuss crowns and then to move onto cleaning my teeth. But she refused to work on me at all and would not do the cleaning. I discussed this with the front desk who told me she doesn't believe me and she asked me to leave. I have never been asked to leave a business before. I'm well insured and I can get care elsewhere. It's a shame because I liked the dentist.

When I first started seeing him, the pain was so bad in my back and neck, and I had a hard time sitting, standing, and even moving my arms. I had seen my regular doctor, then went through physical therapy, but nothing helped. The doctor said that I has osteo-arthritis in my cervical spine. He said I would be in this pain for the rest of my life, and within 15 years, my spine would fuse together. He said the only thing I can do now is pain management. I was in despair. Someone suggested a chiropractor. After my prior experience with one, I was afraid. When I first saw Dr. Carlson, I explained my fears of chiropractors, and of my physical condition that led me to him. He assured me that I would be ok, and that I would get through this. He did his first adjustment with gentleness, and had other methods of adjusting my neck, which was one of my fears. I remember being in a therapy room and just cried. I felt so hopeless. He walked into that room, and I cried to him, and he again reassured me that I would be ok. I had to go to him for adjustments, initially, about twice a week for several weeks, but he got me past the point of despair! It has been well over 10 years now, and I still go to him regularly. Not only am I fully functional, but my spine has not fused! I had even started running, and completed many races, including a full marathon! Yes, I still have issues, but he quickly works to get me back on track. He is very kind and compassionate, and his Staff are also very helpful and kind.
