So far I've done about six sessions with her before I became pregnant. I do plan on coming back to her after this pregnancy. After I had to stop my session, the hair was already getting lighter and some areas stopped growing so I was happy about that. I DO know that her receptionsist rudely hung up on me because she didn't like me asking 3 common questions when looking for a professional electrolysist. I don't understand her suspicion or inexcusable rudeness. Maybe she thought I was a spy competitor or something. I have no idea. I do know that my questions are reasonable and should be asked by all people looking for a professional to do permanent hair removal. I called this business today to ask about the electrolysis services they provide. I explained that I live 2 hours away and am looking for an electrolysist. I started by asking if they have more than one person doing electrolysis (they don't) and how long the electrolysist has been working (17 years). I then asked what method of electrolysis she uses, which was the start of the disgust I heard in the receptionists voice. She said that she would have no idea and defensively said that their customers were happy. She said that would be a question for the electrolysist. I responded okay and then asked if she could tell me her clear rate. This is an important question to me because it would help me know whether it is worth switching from my less experienced professional who is slow and with whom I can't get enough time who is an hour from me to someone who is 2 hours away but might clear my hairs faster and more regularly. But, instead of understanding this as an important question, the phone assistant immediately was obviously off-put and sounded suspicious. She told me she had never heard of such questions before, and didn't think it was relevant. She again told me their customers are happy, and told me I would have to come in for a free consultation. She also referred me to their website, and I responded that I had been to the website and my questions were not answered there. I again explained that I am a couple hours away, and going to them for services would be a huge commitment, especially during a pandemic, even for the free consultation, so I just wanted to get a few questions answered ahead of time. (I was prepared to schedule a 1-hour appointment immediately if my questions had been answered.) So, to get my questions answered without driving 4 hours, I requested a free phone consultation instead, and the receptionist flat out refused. She also refused to leave a message for Melissa, the electrolysist, to call me. I asked why, and she told me she is the gatekeeper (or similar term). She then gruffly told me that she felt I would be happier where I am (after I already told her I wasn't), and then HUNG UP ON ME! For asking questions and and asking for a free phone consultation! That is NOT the way to treat potential clients who would be making a huge financial and time commitment to get to you! I have been waiting decades to find an electrolysist near me and be able to afford this treatment. The few I have found over the years were far from me and all of them either scarred me or were too new and plucked the hairs instead of properly treating them. But, none were rude! And, I have NEVER left reviews of businesses, but this was too much! I hope that the electrolysist reads this review, talks to her receptionist about getting better customer service skills and relaying messages she is asked to take and give, and contacts me for a better, professional dialogue.

They screwed up my appointment time, so when I went for my appointment was told my time had already been past and I needed to reschedule. I requested they call to reschedule, which they never did. They demanded payment when I requested to have my 4 months made up, was told it's a membership and not their responsibility. In trying to cancel the membership, was told the only way out once AUTO renewed is to move away. Biggest scam out there! BEWARE!
