Office personal are not medically trained but yet will shut any concerns you have down and will not break the wall they place. Greeted with an attitude like they know more than you and your concerns not welcoming to help lead you to tests or answers for continuing issues that their answers are not healing. Seems if you call with a concern too a secretary is all you get to speak with. Not actual nurse or medical provider. This place is only for superficial care. Got a wound, they may be the place to go but for care over 40, go somewhere else. In my opinion you are better suited for to save $ and use a phone a Dr in this day and age. why would you want to put up with the attitude they offer when your priority as well as theirs should be doing the best for their patients? Again, my opminion. Everyone's is different and I probably sound like a Karen but I have personally never dealt with a Dr office like this before. Never even gone as far as considering writing a negative review for anyone like this, but this felt warranted.

Visit 3 out of town on business, appt. was scheduled for next week, called pharmacy for refill of sleeping pills. Pharmacy called back to say Dr's office refused. I called the Dr's office, only to be chewed out again for rescheduling last appt. I explained we were very busy setting up a new business and the Dr's office told me, "Everybody's busy, but if you can't keep your appt.'s we can't refill your prescriptions." I asked to speak to the Dr & was told he doesn't talk on the phone. I changed Dr's. No time for such rudeness in my life.

Staff failed to follow through with intake for new patient, treated my child as a patient for 2 years and then declined to treat him, stating he was not an established patient. I have never been so mistreated at a medical establishment. While pharmacist was on call trying to get refills, Mia made the comment that if we needed $4.00 so bad to come by the office and she'd give it to me. I heard this myself as the phone was on speaker. Money wasn't the issue. Getting the prescription refilled was. After calling to talk to Dr. Barnes about the problem, unsuccessfully, I was called back by the very same office staff the next day with a written statement from the doctor which was dismissive at the very least. He couldn't be bothered to call a patient back with a legitimate problem. Appalling behavior for a medical practice. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
