I called Ray and he got me in again and said we can send the hearing aids back but thought we should try reprogramming again and it has worked. No static. Ray has showed great patience with me and I am very happy with my Heaton aids, with Ray and with the the office girl, I am sorry but I can't remember her name. They are very nice people and will take care of you.

He said well you live in Wayne County right? I said yes. He said you work in Wayne County, right? I said yes. He then said that I was eligible for assistance!!! OMG - I said well, give me the referral! So, I had to go to Michigan Works in Livonia and talk to a man about rehabilitation services and how not being able to hear and understand students affected my job, in which it did. How many ways/times can you say huh, excuse me, what did you say, can you say that again, speak up!!!!!???? I had to prove that I was sick, easy my medical records at my house is inches deep!!!! Ohhhh.... So, next thing I know I am approved! My medical insurance provided $1,000 and they picked up the rest. So, in essence, it cost me $0 - how much better can that get? So, now I have my hearing aids from The Hearing Center of Excellence, thank you very much and did not have to pay a dime! The only thing is the batteries are only good for about two weeks. Luckily The Hearing Center has a club that you can join for $20 and for another $20 you can get a whole box of batteries. So, whenever I run out of batteries I just go up to the Center and give them $20 and they will give me another box!!! Not bad and I think this saved my job!

The doctor said she wanted to perform a complimentary evaluation(that I was billed for) which would involve an ultrasound in which I agreed to! After the ultrasound they came back with a proposed plan. Which involved a Varithena injection to my left leg and ultrasound guided schlerotherapy injections in my left and right leg. I now have a $3000 bill that I'm not happy about. After looking into this company because my billing doesn't look right (Example: I was billed for an office visit on the same day I had a procedure. Also, the ultrasounds which were required after each injection should have been a bundled procedure code) that they were sued in 2021for billing issues. I would have never agreed to these procedures had I known that it was I going to be billed this much. Not only that but my legs look way worse than they did to start. I feel very much so taken advantage of by this clinic. I do not recommend anyone goes to this place.

My mother was under his care for almost 10 years and when she went to see a specialist at the Kellogg eye center they found that she had lost 80% of the vision in one of her eyes due to incorrect treatment. I have spoken to several malpractice attorneys who said that unfortunately the statute of limitations had passed, it is 2 years in Michigan, otherwise she could have sued them and likely won. They seem incompetent and just out to get money and do not appropriately refer or treat patients.

From a free consult - which was exceedingly educational and honest - to the weeks of therapy I've now had after rotator cuff surgery, Shawn's goal is to get you functioning and back to your full life asap.
