I've used Beluga Labs twice for my company's website needs and have had wonderful experiences both times. We'd previously been paying an arm and a leg for substandard service that didn't even allow us to make updates to our own site. Yev and the guys at Beluga moved our site over to WordPress to allow us to have more control -- and their price was excellent. We choose Beluga Labs because they had a great portfolio, they were reasonably priced, and they were very quick, thoughtful and personal with their responses. We looked at over 50 web design companies and chose Beluga because of all their outstanding reviews we found online. I figured either these guys are truly outstanding or they've mastered the art of giving themselves fake reviews (as I've found others to do). Well it turns out to be the former, these guys really are as good as everyone says they are. I made a crazy amount of changes, tweaks, etc., to the site being built to the point where I even asked Aleks Zolotarevskiy (I think one of the founders) if he'd like me to pay more than the fixed price we agreed upon for all of the extra work. He told me it's no problem and not to worry about it. Very professional and classy. The final site looks terrific. The project included logo design, secure credit card ordering, and an interactive order taking system, so these guys clearly have a full team of specialists on staff. The cost was reasonable (not dirt cheap like some of the foreign web design companies) but still very reasonable. I've heard some horror stories about people using some cheap companies located outside of the country, and I am reassured that I know these guys will always be around whenever I need support. Yevgeniy and BelugaLabs are by far the best contract developers I have worked with in my career. From start to finish, the experience working with them to redesign and rebuild our website was outstanding. Here are a few reasons why you want to work with these guys... 1) Quality. All of the design work was super high quality and they did a great job of interpreting our ideas/requests and then producing a really top notch website with a fair amount of complexity. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product. 2) Expertise. We had some very specific requests around SEO and certain functionality that they took on with no problems at all. They were able to advise us on design and structure and were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the project. 3) Responsiveness. Nothing is more frustrating than treading water while you wait to hear back from someone. Right from the start Beluga were on the ball, skype, email, call. These guys were super responsive and very accommodating. They truly felt like an extension of our company and part of the team throughout the project. 4) Feedback. Beluga were open and flexible throughout the whole process and their interpretation of feedback was outstanding. Their ability to take direction and make quick adjustments ensured we met what I thought was a pretty agressive timeline for the project. 5) Reasonable. We all want to work with other reasonable people right? Beluga were extremely accommodating and flexible despite the fact that we threw them more than a few curve balls. They didn't try to nickle and dime us, they just worked with us like reasonable people. And they have a "Can Do" attitude that is hard to find these days. I have been working with the Alexsandr Zolotarevskiy, Project Manager of Beluga Labs for several years and he has been nothing but exceptional! I started a new business in 2019 and designed my website with Aleks from scratch. He was able to take my ideas that were in my head and then translate them perfectly to the website.
