This place is terrible. Please don't take your computer or phone here. I brought my Mac in for a keyboard replacement. When I brought it in, I was told it would take three days. It took a month, with very little communication from them. After telling me they would call to update me, they almost always failed to call. I had to visit twice a week on my lunch breaks to check on my laptop. Each time I came, the person behind the desk couldn't remember who I was and seemed to have no idea what was going on with my laptop--he always told me he had to call someone else to find out what was going on, who was conveniently never present. Eventually, when I would finally speak with someone who was directly involved with fixing my keyboard, he would tell me it would be finished the next day. For four weeks, it was not finished the next day. The staff was unprofessional. At no point did any of them take any responsibility for the problem. It was either the suppliers' fault--"they sent us a faulty keyboard! Twice!"--or my fault--"We got the feeling from you it wasn't urgent, so we didn't order the part overnight shipping."--or the boss's fault, or the staff's fault. At first I found them polite and then, increasingly, I found them sleazy. I became worried about whether I would get my laptop back at all. Now, I've got it back. They switched the "n" and "b" keys. According to the keyboard they returned me, it should be Nen 10 Computers. I wanted to leave this review so that nobody else has to go through this. Working with Ben 10 was a stressful, exhausting experience. read more

Worst service ever!!! Does not do what he says he is going to do and not in a timely manner! The iPad I took in for a screen replacement had to be replaced all together after he "fixed it". Does not take responsibility for his terrible work and does not get back to you. Do NOT take anything there! read more

Buyer Beware! Ben 10 is the worst computer store on the planet. They sold me a graphics card saying that although used, there was nothing wrong with it. A flat out lie. It lasted about two weeks before giving up on me. I took my computer into them, and they said 3 days maximum for the repairs, it was more like three weeks. After I got it home, I found that they had reformatted the thing, and that all of my original programs, (Office and a few expensive proprietary programs), were missing. I had to not only reinstall these, but had additional expense over and above to get some of these reinstalled. I went back to these clowns, and was told, "Too bad. We tried everything we could, but it worked when it left here." This isn't the worst part of this whole thing, however. After they told me this, they started making commentary about my file names. MY FILE NAMES. If I had known, or even suspected that they would violate a perceived trust, i.e.; not to look at my personal files, let alone discuss them in front of other people, I would never have gone there is the first place. I've talked to any number of other people around town since my incident, and am shocked that these people are still in business. I've heard stories of how one person got the wrong phone returned, how a screen on a phone wasn't attached properly, and how when they first opened, they were more interested in setting up "play rooms" for gamers. Speaking of play rooms, I also heard that they appeared to be running a baby-sitting operation during their first month in operation. My computer was never fixed correctly by these people. I ended up going to a neighbor who really should be in business for himself, but isn't; he was able to not only fix the initial problem I had, it was a bad hard drive - Ben 10 claimed to have replaced it, they didn't. They instead installed a new one in-line with the old one. My neighbor fixed the machine, (including a new graphics card), in less than 24 hours. All without any incident, or additional expense. I would recommend that no one, and I mean NO ONE should do business with these people unless you enjoy headaches, and have nothing better to do with your time and money. read more

STAY FAR AWAY!!! This place is awful. They had my computer for 4 months and didn't work on it. They charged me $40 to tell me what they think might be wrong with it, but I am pretty sure they didn't even open it. They kept telling me that they would keep me updated on it, but they just "Forgot to call me back" for 4 months. When I called or went in, the only person who could work on my computer was never, ever there. I eventually had to go in and demand it back. I got a very good vibe from them at first, but now I feel like I have been scammed. Seriously, stay away. read more

Poor communication skills from Ben 10 Computers. I gave them a deposit for an iPhone screen replacement and was told that they would call me when the part came in to schedule an appointment. They never called me, I had to call them. I was able to schedule an appointment but when I returned to pick-up my phone at the scheduled time, they claimed the screen they ordered was damaged, so they could NOT repair my phone and I'd have to schedule another appointment--which I did. After dropping my phone off for a second appointment, when I went to pick it up after they had it for 8 hours, my phone was still not repaired and they refused to give it back to me nor refund my money. They claimed it had been taken apart but the technician wasn't available and I'd have to come back the next day. At that time they also said they called and left a message on my cell phone earlier that day to tell me my phone had NOT been repaired and to not come in. When I pointed out that they had my cell phone and I obviously couldn't get cell phone messages, there was just an awkward silence. Everyone at Ben Ten was extremely nice and courteous. But after all the excuses and lack of communication, the trust factor diminished. Although they eventually replaced my screen, the amount of work I had to do to bridge the communication gap wasn't worth it. I gave them two stars because the staff were nothing but courteous, albeit ill-informed regarding the status of service on my phone. read more

Don't go here. I had a VERY similar experience to the other people with complaints about them. Their communication was terrible and they gave me excuse after excuse as to why my phone wasn't ready as well. After they had "fixed" my broken screen on my iphone I still noticed problems, but I thought the various problems could have been my fault from when I had dropped it. I ended up cracking my screen again and decided to take it elsewhere. When I took it in to the other shop they felt the need to ask me who had replaced the screen the first time. They said that Ben 10 must not have known what they were doing at all and that the reason it probably broke the second time was because the screen was so poorly replaced by Ben. After the other shop fixed my phone I noticed that the other problems that I had noticed after the first repair were completely gone, which shows again how horrible the screen was "fixed" when Ben 10 did it. The other shop that fixed my phone was only about $10-$20 more than Ben 10 and was well worth the extra cost. It also took a day and a half with Ben 10 and the other shop had my phone repaired in less than an hour. I would not suggest Ben 10 to anyone. read more

A 3.5 week nightmare!!!!!! My child's iPad screen broke and we took it to Ben 10 to fix the screen we paid $150 dollars for a new screen and protected cover to prevent cracking on the screen. We were told it would be ready on a Wednesday and Ed told us there was a family emergency and it was not ready until Friday. So we waited an entire week for Ben to call us and they gave us an excuse that they did not write the number down. Consequently, after a week we get the iPad screen from the store no problems. Two days later the screen fell off the iPad. On a Thursday take the iPad back and Ed says he needs to have Ben look at it. Ed tells us he will call us tomorrow. Nobody called back. Monday several days later some other guy calls and accuses us of prying the iPad screen open. Some tech guy tell us it will cost $100 bucks to fix. We tell him no that the screen was not repaired properly to begin with. My wife tells him just glue the screen back down. The tech guy tells us he can do it for free as if they are doing us a favor for not doing the job right in the first place. They then tell us it will be ready Thursday. My wife goes to the store to pick it up and they say its not ready. This happened several times delaying the readiness of the iPad. Ed hands my wife the iPad and the cover pops open again breaking a wire in the iPad! They tell us 2 days to fix it. They tell us it will be done several times on different days and they never call us back. We have to call and they tell us they ordered a new screen. The whole time they repeatedly tell us they are "out $75 bucks" for fixing the screen they were incompetent in not fixing in the first place. Then my wife finally goes down at 3pm on 10-16-15 and they make my wife wait for the glue to dry!!!! Then Ed relays a message from Ben to my wife, "this screen is $75 bucks but we did it for free." These people are unprofessional and incompetent. And they never keep their word when it was ready and only called once in nearly 4 weeks during the whole process and they insult my wife as if it was our fault! read more

My review is very similar to the other bad ones. The same lack of communication, no follow up phone calls, telling me it would be ready by a certain day, yet when I go to pick it up, not done and another excuse from why it isn't done. I also had the "bad supplier" excuse and of course the multiple "family emergencies" excuse. I was even "assured," Ben would be in on Saturday to fix my ipod as a priority. He never even showed up to work that day! I could go on and on about the excuses, but I know for a fact I was flat out lied to. When the ipod screen was finally fixed, the home button didn't work and guess what? "It must have come in that way." Right, because first of all I would tear it apart and severe the home button flex cable (another shop told me that was the issue, quite obvious what the problem was and severed during repair of the screen) and 2nd of all I would bring in a broken ipod to have the screen replaced because that makes perfect sense. When Ben finally did call me, he was rude and argumentative. I have honestly never, ever been treated like that as a customer. I had him work on a notebook computer and it took over 2 months. I thought I'd give him another chance and huge mistake on my part. He even brought that up and said the computer was locked, he was looking at our messages and he only charged me $25. I don't know what messages he was referring to because I had only called him and the notebook was a hard drive issue and $80. I told him he didn't even know what he was talking about. So the ipod was gone 2.5 weeks and came home broken. I took it to another store in town and it was fixed in 2 hours!! You get what you pay for, it's worth it to pay a little more and go elsewhere! I don't usually feel strongly enough to leave reviews, only when the experience is exceptionally bad. I would not recommend Ben 10 Computers. I took my Mac laptop in primarily because it wouldn't load past the initial startup screen (a software problem) but also asked whether they could replace a crack in my screen (hardware problem). I brought it in late June and did not get it back until late September, despite being told it would only take a couple of weeks. I echo all of the concerns of other reviewers in terms of the front desk person never seeming to know what I was talking about and very little communication. In order to finally get it back I started coming in every single week and being vocal that I wouldn't stop coming in until I received my computer back. When I did get it back, the screen was fixed (with a huge grease print on the top and missing screws) but the computer still wouldn't move beyond the startup screen. At this point, I decided to just take the computer elsewhere, so I took it to the Mac Shack in Fort Collins. They have since run diagnostics and taken it apart and told me that the interior shows evidence that a huge liquid spill happened to it and was cleaned up (they recognize this because it is work they often do in-house). The problem? I have been the first and only owner of this laptop and I never spilled anything on it and never took it to be cleaned! Don't go to Ben 10. read more
