It isn't very fancy or decorated like the Montreal places are like, however it seemed simple and a neighborhood joint for the locals. We sat outside and the waitress very sweetly took our orders. We had to use the translator as the entire menu was in French. The waitress was kind enough to translate everything and walk us through the menu. I listened to her and ordered my crepes and the husband went for a buttery croissant and the omelette. The food was beautifully seasoned and the quantity was perfect. I was under the impression that crepes were thinner, but it was a combination of a pancake and a crepe. I won't complain because it tasted wonderful. The fruits were fresh and tasted sweet and citrusy. The omelette was packed with ham, sausage and bacon, the home fries were crispy. We really enjoyed our meal and was full till we reached home. I just wish they had translated their menu a bit for tourists like us!

Most recently, we went to Eggspress and it was delicious! The food itself comes in great portion sizes, the fruit is fresh, and everything we ordered was extremely tasty. They have a lot of healthy options which I was happy to try. Although, I will need to get my own hash browns next time- they were so tasty! The ambiance is really nice too. Very clean, open and fresh. The staff are really pleasant and overall, it was a really nice experience.

The quality sausages and potatoes really make the meal though. All the plates on the other tables too good too. The staff is super friendly. The only downside is that this place is always packed. People just like it that much. The wait times aren't usually too bad though, and it's worth the wait.

I saw the reviews on this place was excellent and needed to try it on our own to experience what other has to say. Indeed it was amazing the food and service that we received. We love it and waiter and owner was very nice and they chatted with us. I do have to say that when we left I noticed that we were charge for certain things that the waiter didn't inform us of. He gave us many choices but one of the choices was of hollandaise sauce and cheese on our potatoes and didn't inform us that it would be extra and also upgraded our toast to sourdough bread and fail to inform us that is also extra. I felt like he felt he was guilty and offer us coffee for free to go with us on our way back home to NY. A little disappointed with that! I don't wish this happen to anyone else.
