A few weeks before the wedding I was back in Brisbane and we were able to meet. Instantly I was so happy with the decision to go with Christine. She was so friendly and asked so many questions to get the exact vision of what we want for the wedding, and the photos. She had taken the time to visit the venue to have a better idea of the surroundings and had some great ideas for creative shots. On the big day, Christine made the pre-wedding shots fun and was able to move through the formal photos as efficiently as possible. All of the important photos were captured, plus countless great photos we would never have thought of. Looking through our photo collections now, it is fantastic to relive the day. So many stunning photos and so many special memories. The only hard part now is deciding which of the countless great images to frame for the wall. Dalton Hospitality had not long catered the first Brisbane Diner En Blanc and I'd been hearing Jerome's (Dalton's fearless leader) name and praise for his food left, right and centre. Dalton Hospitality is how I became to be one of those people who have their picnic catered. And you know what? I don't regret it for a second, and here's why. Following my initial enquiry with Jerome, he worked one-on-one with me to develop a casual picnic menu for the day and within my budget. Tick. On the day he went out of his way to meet me at the picnic location to deliver the food all presented in beautiful cane picnic baskets to add to the atmosphere. Tick. I still hadn't seen the food until myself and the Yelpers started tucking into the gourmet delights that awaited. To say there was more than enough food is an understatement. We were spoilt for choice from fresh garden salads, smoked salmon salad baguettes, anti-pasto platters with brie and my favourite - the chocolate tart which got better once it warmed up a little. It had a subtle jaffa taste to it. None of us left the picnic hungry. After the picnic, Jerome arranged a time to come and collect the picnic baskets. All no fuss and just part of the service. Exceptional. Jerome and the Dalton team were so easy to work with and I know that by comparison, this picnic was a small scale task for them, however I was never made feel like it was any less important. I would gladly put Dalton to the top of any list where catering was called for!

This costume store is filled with many accessories like jewellery, wigs, shoes, hats, toy weapons and an array of clothing. You can rent costumes or you can buy them, the choice is yours. Some of the rentable options are a bit worn down, but you can still find a lot of other options. Parking in this area can be a hassle, but luckily Cracker Jack Costume & Party Supplies have a designated parking area for it's customers around the back. I'd highly recommend this costume place for the next fancy dress party.

This couple seem to really get into it! They certainly gave us 100% + and were very patient in getting a good range of photos for us. As first-time customers to a proper studio setup, we admit to being impressed. Mary took care of all the little details and loosely set up the photos - our kids did the rest by just mucking around. We had a photo session booked with Peter the owner and photographer and Mary his assistant and wife…read moreat 10am Saturday for our 4 young children. We arrived at 10.10am for the shoot and Peter confronted us screaming that he had waited 1/2hr and time was money. I calmly explained that we were 10min late (because we had to stop for my 3 year old to go to the toilet) he continued to rant that time was money and if the shoot wasn't over quickly he would just give us our money back. He then angrily directed his wife Mary where to place our children who were quite subdued by his aggression. He then screamed at my kids who were being so impeccable in their behaviour that if they were not absolutely still he would get in his car and drive away and mum and dad won't get their photo. My husband and I were quite shocked and in hindsight wish that we did not continue with the photo shoot. I work in customer relations for an airline and have NEVER heard or seen anyone behaving in this unprofessional, disrespectful and rude manner towards a person. I strongly suggest you don't use Peter at Sheldonlea for a photography session. He made an experience that was meant to be a celebration of our 4 children very harrowing for us and we regret using him. To say the least the smiles in the resulting photo of my children (that I picked up today) are forced as the experience was very unpleasant for our family.
