I can't comment on the ice creams like Chunky Monkey, or, "Everything but the Kitchen Sink," because I, personally, can't stand stuff in my ice cream. it never works for me at all. However, and that said, they have one of the BEST chocolate ice creams I've ever had.. delicious and rich and flavorful. their chocolate is almost like a dark chocolate, but it's still amazing chocolate. usually I order a hand-packed pint delivered. usually I dig in telling myself I'll eat 1/2 and save the rest for the next day. Usually I find myself eating the whole pint, so it never quite ends up that way.. Actually, I could go for some right now! We walked here after eating lunch and honestly I was shocked that they had a Ben & Jerry's in Savannah. As soon as we walked in we were pleasantly greeted and given a sample of our choice. I only needed one sample to know what I wanted and I was very pleased! The store was clean which allowed me a chance to sit down and enjoy my ice cream and I appreciated that. The AC was out, so the building was steaming hot, and the workers were forced to work in those conditions. All of the ice cream was melted and soupy. I love buying Ben & Jerry's from the grocery store and was excited to try some from a shop. I was very disappointed and felt awful for those workers. I'm dairy-free, and this was the only ice cream shop to offer a dairy-free option. I got a scoop that didn't seem as soupy, and I still paid full price. I would have asked for a discount, but I felt terrible for the workers and didn't want to add more to their plates. They seemed upset, rightfully so. Very disappointed. read more

Ben & Jerry's is in the list of my top two creameries. I normally buy it at a grocery store, but sometimes visit their retail stores, such as this visit. My daughter and I enjoyed a Daddy-Daughter dinner out and decided we needed to find some good ice cream. The standard desserts on the menu just weren't going to cut it at the dinner restaurant. We headed out to Ben & Jerry's for some premium ice cream. This is in a great location downtown Savannah on Broughton street, in the middle of the shopping and restaurants. We tried two new flavors on this visit (at least new for us): - Salted Caramel Blondie: sweet cream base with chunks of blondie brownie and swirls of caramel - Sticky Toffee Cookie: Brown sugar ice cream base with brown sugar cookie chunks and a toffee caramel swirl. Both were really good, and recommended. However my top 3 all time favorite flavors remain: - Chunky Monkey - Cherry Garcia - Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz My wife and I visited their creamery in Vermont ages ago (1999). Their company's secret is their technology and methods for incorporating large chunks of delicious add-ins to their ice cream. They aggressively protect it and didn't even let us take pictures on our creamery tour. Ben & Jerry were huge philanthropists and took good care of their farmers that sourced their cream. Ben & Jerry actually sold their business ages ago and I hope the company carries on these traditions. read more

Man, this Ben & Jerry's was a let down. The pro is that I was the only person in line so I was waited on immediately, but maybe I should have taken that as a sign to stay away, but I gave it a go. I ordered a milkshake and unfortunately there was no shake and all milk. It was super runny and really was like a glass of milk with some stuff inside of it. Almost as if it had sat out for a long period of time which I knew it hadn't as it was made fresh. At around six dollars it was really a let down to get something like that and be so unappealing. Definitely a one and done situation from me. Maybe if you like your shakes to be super runny, this is your place, but for me I need a least a little tug when you are trying to drink a milkshake. How can you screw up a Ben and Jerry's waffle cone? Charge 8.00 for a soggy waffle cone that has a tiny scoop of ice cream. Should have waited in the long line at Leopold's. Leopold's ice cream is worth the wait and the quality is far superior. The interior was absolutely nondescript. read more

The staff was super friendly!!! Because of Covid we were able to get samples but they told us if we didn't like the flavor they would do an exchange which I thought was really cool! I saw online they had Berry Lemon Sherbrrrt flavor. When I asked for that flavor the lady said they didn't carry that in this store. BUT she did tell me how to recrate it. So I got one scoop of lemonade and one scoop of berry which was very good!!! I would take one scoop of both and it tasted just as I thought it would! Just an overly priced store that nickel and dimes you ever time for a little of this and a little of that on your sundae. $12.00 for ice cream probably anywhere else in town that would go for $8. Let me stand corrected the picture is actually a kiddie cup not small with less then a scoop of ice cream for $3.95. Outrageous. Price is outrageous and the ice cream was just ok. The ambiance is so light and friendly here every time I come in for ice cream. Staff is always super helpful and quick, and always down for some small conversation!! Fran and Cero in particular have taken my experience here from good to great, and they've always made me feel welcome and satisfied. Plus, the ice cream is just delicious. It's alright, but on a hot day the place doesn't take it into account. My shake was cold milk, and no ice. It's 95 degrees, so a thin plastic cup won't work. I did not wait to drink the shake at all, and it was handed directly to me from the prep. Secondly, the presentation of the ice cream was dirty. All the strips that hold the names are caked with filth (could be old glue). And the ice cream dividers were not clean or securely installed. It looked like ice creams were mixing & melting into each other. The taste of the ice cream was good, as expected since I've bought these flavors at Kroger before. But the quality of my experience eating it on a very hot day leaves a lot of room for improvement. The people were very nice, and attentive. read more

Not very happy I love Ben and Jerry's cherry Garcia and I was walking past and really wanted ice cream so purchased a "fresh packed" pint and for a fresh packed pint you would expect it to be good. It was sad it left be very disappointed it was grainy which ice cream gets grainy when it's thawed and re frozen so I'm very disappointed in the quality of my pint for TEN dollars. Don't recommend coming here they need a better ice cream freezer so it'll actually keep the ice cream frozen. read more

I popped in here because there wasn't a line and I needed an ice cream fix! They weren't able to do samples because of COVID, but said they would exchange anything if I was unhappy with the flavor. I told them it's impossible to be unhappy with Ben & Jerry's! I got Oatmeal Cookie and Whisky Biz in a vanilla sprinkle waffle cone. I loved the oatmeal flavor best and the cone tasted so good. I was very happy with my purchase! I also got the cookie because I run a cookie blog/review page on IG. It was tasty, but very thin and flimsy, so I had to fold it in half to make it easier to eat. On a hot summer day it was Ben and Jerry's to the rescue. There were plenty of parking spots on the street the day we stopped by. The shop was quite, and clean. The most important thing to me is friendly service. The gentleman there was nice but not exceptionally friendly. They had my favorite flavors in stock. Because of Covid, seating is very limited.
