This time, me and my 16-year-old challenged ourselves by picking a treat for each other that we wouldn't ordinarily choose. I got her a cheese danish, she got me a peach fritter. The danish was too bready for me, but she loved it. And we both enjoyed the peach fritter! Wanna take it home to have with ice cream next time. Baker's Pride is where the locals go. And EVERYBODY friendly--staff and customers. While scanning the treats, a few customers started making suggestions for us. One said, "If you think you love Krispy Kreme, you gotta try the donuts here." He ain't lying! I told em I was a regular too and shared our lil challenge. We got our treats then headed over to the microwave to warm em up. One of the ladies who'd made suggestions saw me at the microwave and said, "Oh yeah, you know what you doing." Whole experience felt like community...with dessert on top

I spoke to one of the owners on getting a cake ready for pickup ahead of time for my wife's birthday. My wife loves chocolate, but not too sweet. I specifically asked the owner of it was possible to make a chocolate lovers cake that wasn't too sweet, and her response was, "we will make something special for her." Then I asked if they could create a Hufflepuff theme for the deco as well, and they said no problem. She was absolutely correct. The cake was chocolate through and through, and very delicious. And NOT TOO SWEET! The cake's deco was spectacular! One of my wife's favorite cakes so far. Thank you again for such a treat. We will be sure to come see you guys again next time we are in town!

Only to be extremely disappointed we chose the Lemon Blueberry because of great reviews as well as it being seasonal. There wasn't even a hint of lemon and the blueberries were all but none excitant only small pieces of the berries. The most powerful flavor was the icing and it wasn't lemon flavored it was a butter cream which is apparently standard. Not to mention the icing was stuck to plastic wrap which the cake was wrapped in. Just overall not a very good experience sadly. It's a great concept but flavor wise and wrapping was a large disappointment. I want give up we will just stick with chocolate or red velvet.
