My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this store and we will never ever even think of coming back for the reasons below: My wife and I decided that we would purchase a Rolex watch for her and maybe for me but only if they had the model that I really wanted (because I purchased 3 in the past 10 months or so). A few moments later, we are approached by Ms. Jacqueline De Champlon and I begin asking her questions about watches that I want since we already know that they already have the watch that my wife wants. To my unpleasant surprise, she was SO VERY RUDE I couldn't believe it! So much so that we decided to go elsewhere. When we were initially approached, I began asking her about stainless steel Rolex models and it's availability and she just rolled her eyes in disgust. (Maybe it's because I was wearing a LA Dodgers hat, t-shirt, jeans, and Jordan's? Maybe because everybody asks her about stainless steel Rolex models?) Ms. Jacqueline De Champlon then goes on to tell us that stainless steel Rolex models are very limited and that they are super high in demand. I have been a watch collector for the past 35 years. I have owned brands like Rolex, Vacheron Constantin, Omega and many more. So I walk to this place while my wife was shopping in other stores to ask about a Rolex. Now keep in mind that they have a Rolex section with an armed security guard. I asked the security guard if there is anyone to answer some questions. She pointed me to a person behind the counter. I asked for a specific Rolex model. His response was " I don't have any Rolex watches for sale". Okay, no interest in me and my inquiry. No effort to have a conversation about my inquiry. Just a rude, abrupt, dry personality facing the customer. No effort on showing me an alternative choice. I wonder if they do not have a Rolex for sale, then why is it they have a whole section with an armed security guarding the Rolex section? I figured may be I am in Twilight Zone! Why are you in business? When it's all show and nothing to offer for sale? And no sales skills? Obviously a Rolex is a want not a need. Why would someone blow a potential customer away? This is the most bizarre confrontation with any retailer that I have ever encountered. Good luck. I am not ever stepping in that store. and guess what? I came into Ben Bridge roughly eight months ago looking to purchase a Rolex Submariner. It's been a watch I've wanted for almost two years! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Jacqueline. My fiance (then boyfriend) and I were at the mall and wanted to check out the jewelry stores for an idea of how much engagement rings would cost, what was available, etc. After some kind of shady experiences at the other places (salespeople crowding us while yelling, "Don't leave! Try on this watch!" or the opposite with salespeople ignoring us and "lab-created" stamped on each jewelry tag), we walked into Ben Bridge. We were greeted by a friendly face (whose name I don't remember, damn it!) who left us alone to browse but said to feel free to ask her any questions. She came over when she saw me stop at a case of rings and showed me a ring I wanted to see. I had never tried on rings before and had no idea what I was looking for or even my ring size. She gave me rings made out of every kind of metal to try on to see which one I liked more and measured my ring size a billion different times until I was positive which one fit better. She answered all my crazy questions about different gemstones and metals, how a ring should fit, and gave her opinion when I asked for it. I wasn't taken by any one ring in particular (and we were just browsing, after all) but the idea of the setting of one ring but with a different stone struck my fancy. She said they did not have that ring with that stone listed in their catalog, but that she could request a quote from the company. She said it would take 3 - 5 business days to get back to us, wrote down all our information, and even wrote down the catalog numbers of the rings I liked so I could look them up online along with my ring size so I wouldn't forget. We heard back from her with an estimate in about 2 days, but in that time had already bought a ring I fell in love with online! Even though we did not buy anything from Ben Bridge, I was so impressed with the customer service, I had to write this review.
