Super directive, to the point that it felt disorienting and domineering. Beyond that I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but all I can say is that I, like others, just felt really on edge, uneasy, anxious, and unsafe with him. I cried going into the ketamine because I knew I wasn't in the right headspace after talking with him, but I'd owe over $300 for the appointment if I didn't go through with it so I was stuck. Truly awful experience, just wanted to get out of there at the end. He cleared me to leave one hour after my second dose, when safety standards dictate that patients should be supervised for at least 2 hours after ketamine administration. So he wasn't following the standard of care there either. To be honest I wanted to get away so badly that my former point about standard supervision time post-ketamine doesn't really even matter to me, but adding it since it might be relevant for others, and speaks to how he runs ketamine sessions.

This therapist is easily manipulated and controlled by whomever is paying her. She wanted me to join in sessions with my daughter and for me to pay her extra to do so. I refused and lo and behold she worked her best to convince my daughter that I had done her wrong. By the time my daughter turned 17 she had been convinced by Margaret. From 20 until present my daughter (now 25) and I have been estranged. She has never told me what I did wrong and refuses to see or speak to me. Margaret has played a significant role in this painful estrangement. I hope she is able to live with herself now. Stay away from this therapist. She comes across as warm, caring and competent, but she is only so if you are funneling money her way.

I signed up with Patrik, who told me all these beautiful things about how Kaiser is horrible and that he can actually help me. I told him about my history of explosions and gave him basically all the information he needed to know what to expect with me. My first explosion, which was not even that bad, he kicks me out of his office. I later send him a text message telling him that he gave up on me amongst other things, and in return he sends me Kaiser resources. I don't think I've ever had a therapist as brainless and completely situationally unaware as this guy. I really hope nobody trusts this idiot with their problems again.
