I've long been a proponent for hands on physical therapy versus the physical therapy mills that are seeing multiple people at the same time and not providing me with the attention I need to get better. After two visits to one of the big name physical therapy mills, I decided to call my former physical therapist in California for a recommendation. I'm not sure what or how he searched for a therapist, but whatever he did, he was able to find me Promotion Physical Therapy. They are an amazing place that is hands on and does amazing work. The front office staff is warm and welcoming. The therapists are talented and caring, and the owner who is also a therapist is compassionate, professional and very knowledgeable. My first therapist Michael was/is amazing! He does a procedure called dry needling which has done wonders for my knee. While Michael was on vacation I was assigned Sherri and Kerry, they have different techniques with great results. They have gotten my knee back to where I'm playing basketball again. All of my progress was made without surgery! I would recommend Promotion Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to get better and experience hands on physical therapy!

The office offers stim therapy, piezo wave…read moretherapy, massage therapy, roller tables, decompression therapy, etc. First, the adjustment....Dr. Rita uses a drop table which I have found to be a much better and pleasant experience than chiropractors who do not use a drop table. It's less jarring and you don't feel violated by the Dr lol. The neck adjustment can also be done with the drop table which was a first for me. However, I find the manual manipulation of the neck provides better relief. Dr. Rita is very kind and personable. It's always a fun chat during the adjustments. Piezo Wave Therapy....Debbie administered this for my frozen shoulder and it was the weirdest sensation. It hurt for a super short period of time so she knew where to focus the machine. After one session my shoulder was feeling great. Debbie also works at the front desk for checkin/checkout and is super helpful. The Stim Therapy is usually done after the adjustment (you can do this or choose the roller table). This is basically just placing electrode pads on certain areas and providing stimulation to the area. AKA a TENS machine or EMS. I bought a TENS machine for use at home and find this really helps. Because I now own a TENS machine, the last few visits I have been opting for the roller bed. It appears the table can be set to either Cervical, Thoracic, or Lumbar focus and it's timed....I think 10 minutes? It provides an awesome stretch and massage all at the same time. The practice is great as a whole. The ladies that work the front are very friendly and helpful. You can usually get a next day and sometimes same day appointment if needed. I really like that you can either call or text the practice line and they are very quick in responding. I have never seen Dr. Perkins or Dr. Jones but have heard good things about them too in the office. The office is LGBTQ+ friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Rita.

He has gifted hands and is very perceptive about what is going on with my body. I have missing discs in my vertebrae and am convinced that a prolonged absence from his adjustments would find me in a wheel chair. He literally keeps me up on my feet, mobile and out of pain. His office is clean, well lit, more than 3 treatment rooms, and front office personnel who can't be beat.
