Unfortunately, the owners did not like her mother, my daughter-in-law, expressing concerns over her daughter's safety during practice as a competition team member. Rather than dealing with my son and daughter-in-law about their concerns in an adult manner, the owners communicated their ire only with my granddaughter. They sent her a text to tell her that neither she and her seven-year-old sister was not welcome to train there any longer. My granddaughter is only twelve years old. Although my granddaughter was close to her Black Belt at Dragon Dojo, their taking that opportunity from her thankfully had no training effect on her as she will still be getting her Black Belt this year from a more respectable dojo. By so acting the ownership and trainers of this dojo demonstrated a lack of ability to control their anger and poor judgment. Those are not good traits for teaching martial arts and I will not recommend anyone putting their children under such tutelage.
