Let me first off start by saying how much I love this boutique! The ladies are always extremely friendly and they truly know what's best for you when it comes to their products and services. I've gone to many different places before for waxing and all have always been a disaster, especially when it comes to my eyebrows. Other places I've gone to leave my eyebrows as thin as paper or wax them so hard that skin starts to rip off and bleed. They say that I have "extremely thin and sensitive skin" that I should stay away from waxing so needless to say I was a little nervous when I decided to go to Benefit. So now let me say, Benefit did a beyond amazing job!!! My go to lady is always Tracey and let me tell you, she is a queen when it comes to doing what she does! She does my brows perfectly and I always leave satisfied. I'm constantly getting compliments on how full and clean my brows look and it's all thanks to Tracey. As for the "extremely thin and sensitive skin" all the other people would say I had...Tracey would wax my eye brows so well that believe it or not I actually enjoyed the feeling of having the wax taken off. So if your nervous about waxing your brows, don't be afraid it's amazing here! I've also gone for a full Brazilian here as well with my go to lady and she's great at that too! My skin never feels irritated after the session or the day after so it's awesome. A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Tatiane. When I arrived I was greeted right away and was told Tatiane would be a few minutes - which was fine because I wouldn't want her to rush my brows either. I was offered a seat and an eye mask. I was pampered the entire time I was there! I got into a conversation with the manager, Maxine, who spoke to me as if I had been her best friend for years, she was very sweet and welcoming. When Tatiane started doing my brows, she did everything to make sure I was comfortable - showing me what she was doing and why. I opted to tint my brows as well and very happy I did! The entire process was painless and my brows are flawless! I will only go here and I will only see Tatiane when it comes to my brows. My appointment was at 630 and they closed at 7. However, Tatiane did not skip on any part of the service and even concealed the redness up and added some brow gel for me. I was actually their until 730 just talking to Tatiane and Maxine about products and the brand. It was amazing. When I was leaving Maxine actually rushed out after me to tell me how to properly take care of my eyebrows now that they've been tinted. Overall my experience was great, however the customer service and professionalism provided by Maxine and Tatiane was so unreal, they made the experience amazing. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at the new Benefit Boutique by Yonge and Eglinton. I do want to note though that the boutique is not right at the intersection. It is about a 5-10 minute walk north of Eglinton on the west side of Yonge. The staff there are really friendly and professional. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted by one of the benebabes. My appointment was at 1:45pm, however I finished lunch early and headed there about an hour earlier. This was not an issue. I did not have to wait and one of the staff was able to give my brows a showdown right away. The staff was very knowledgeable and took time to explain each step of the process (i.e. mapped, tinted, waxed, and application of the brow pencil). Within 15 minutes my bushman eyebrows had turned into spectacularly shaped beauties! I'm always a stickler for hygiene and cleanliness and this boutique definitely is as good as it gets. There was no double dipping of the wooden wax stick - which in my opinion is a big no-no for spas. I highly recommend getting your brows done here! Aside from the services that they offer (e.g. waxing, make-up application, etc.), they also sell their products at the boutique. They have a very clean and organized display. I love benefit and have tons of products from them! The store is super chic and cute, and the staff is extremely professional and friendly. My sister has been raving about the brow services for a while, but I shyed away from going because I've mainly seen benefit as a makeup brand not for waxing. However after a mishap with my eyebrows at one of the places I've been going to just up the street, which I'm not going to name, I went to Tracey saying please fix me! She immediately pulled out her magic pencil and sketched out where my brows should be, then waxed, clipped a bit, and tinted. I've never gotten an eyebrow tint before. It felt great. Finally, she touched my brows up with a few products. One of which I got: the gimme brow - a mascara type product for your brows. There was also a brow pencil and a highlighter. I visited Benefit Boutique today on my lunch break. It was the first time I had been to the boutique since it opened at the beginning of summer. I was greeted right away by Maxine and told me to let her know if I needed anything. I browsed around and then kept going for my walk. On my way back I decided I saw something I really liked so I was going to go back in. I then met Giovanna. She was a great help, tested multiple products for me and found me exactly what I wanted. I left the store with everything and I wanted and more to try. Overall a great experience I plan to go back to get a body tan. read more

Love this store. I don't wear a ton of makeup so for me to have fun going to a makeup store says a lot. Decor and staff are really cheerful. Products are good quality and easy to use. I highly recommend the spray tan here. I don't usually do spray tan but I wanted to try it for my wedding. They use all natural ingredients and it comes out amazing! There are 3 levels of spray tan. I did the medium level and it was such a natural glow. It did not come out orange and I got so many compliments saying I looked beautiful and tan. Prices are pretty reasonable. I get my eyebrows done at this Benefit Boutique and I have sworn to never go anywhere else. The price I pay to get my eyebrows threaded is totally worth the whole entire experience. From the second you walk into the store, you receive amazing service from the workers and that continues on until you leave. Even though the commute for me is more than an hour and a half, it is well worth the trip up. Don't think I can ever stray from this place. (Also side note: Tatiane makes your eyerows look POPPIN. I had the pleasure of experiencing Maxine and her team last Thursday evening at the Benefit store at Uptown Yonge. What a great time and everyone had and they left looking beautiful. Tatiane was amazing! She was patient, kind, and very professional! I had my eyebrows and everything from the waist down waxed and she did it rather quickly and as pain free as possible. Great atmosphere, beautiful salon, nice staff, and pay parking was easily available. The prices may seem a little high but the quality of service was definitely worth it! I got my brows waxed by Tatiane and upper lip threaded for the first time. I was super happy with the results and with Tatianes work; she is a perfectionist, well educated about her field and answered my questions with ease. Tracey Gandoza is the absolute best. I am 44 and have been getting my brows down forever and no one has ever done such a great job.
