While already curling my hair she said it was coarse (which is news to me, I know for a fact my hair is medium texture, but I just have a lot) and that's why the resulting curls would not hold as long. By the time I got home one hour later, the curls were gone, despite her having put hairspray. It looked like something I could do myself with my ameteur skills. I never have this problem when I go to the salon at Ulta beauty or Dry Bar when they curl my hair. My previous elite stylist can even do a blowout on me that holds curls without even having to use a curling iron.
