It is…read moretherefore ironic that one of the biggest changes we have experienced with moving across the country centered around our health. This is something we continue to deal with because one thing we realized coming here was... that Miami healthcare is absolute garbage and that my new locality has better healthcare. Perfect example of this would have to be in regards to dermatology. For years... YEARS! I suffered not only with acne but with a skin condition in the back of my scalp... including my brother as well. I had it since I was in 9th grade. The condition was painful, sometimes more and sometimes less depending on how bad the episode was. Sometimes the pain would be mild, sometimes it hurt so bad it was awful to lay my head on a pillow, sometimes it just hurt that bad by itself. I went to dermatologist after dermatologist, trying to find a way to fix this. They all gave me different opinions on what it was and different treatments. I cannot describe the amount of different pills, ointments, and shampoos I tried for the condition... they didn't work or didn't work for long. One shyster told me laser surgery would fix it... yeah he couldn't explain how though... i didn't do that one. My brother and I started treating with Dr.Gray in Lima in June of 2020. We were both pretty jaded with all our prior dermatological experiences and expected to keep going thru this for the rest of our lives. For about half the year, we tried different pills and ointments that did not work until he decided that the way to finally fix this problem for good was to take isotretonin. It was a long treatment starting in January 2021 and ending in July...requiring constant check up with him and bloodwork because the medicine is very strong. Dr. Gray even was nice enough once we were starting to stabilize to do e-visits after our working hours as it was hard to constantly take off work. He would tell us to keep the faith that we would get thru this and it would get fixed. You know what though? It worked! IT WORKED! I can't describe what it feels like to be finally free of this problem after years of this. This man is a miracle worker! I pray that it would stick and except for one brief and flare up (i think due to stress), i have been pain free. I am thankful I tried one last time and got treated by Dr. Gray. I always tell everyone I speak to now, if you have a skin issue or need to see a dermatologist... you NEED to see Dr. Gray in Lima.

I've had nothing BUT issues with Walgreens since being forced to them after riteaid closed. They…read moredon't refill my prescriptions correctly so I have to get ahold of insurance to call them and fix it EVERYTIME, they always have my prescription delayed for a week or more before they can gill it while they have been told by insurance its preauthed and insurance covers it (i check with insurance and my dr each time). Then this time they tell me in phone call and on their app that my prescription is IN STOCK and then days after when I'm going to pick it up they SUDDENLY don't have it in stocks and have no idea why someone would tell me it is but THEIR APP says in stock and ready for pickup. Then after speaking to them and being told this crap the app suddenly says delayed and out of stock... mhm right. Sounds to me like one of the workers gave my prescription to someone else. So now, not only am I without my meds, but now I have to wait 3 days after I'm supposed to take it before I will be able to take it. Way to screw your clients Walgreens. After this, I don't recommend Walgreens to anyone. Go somewhere else. It's not worth it and they don't care that they screw up and screw the people needing the meds for health reasons.

I went and left my clothes and then noticed the display was for a company named Ev'Dera. One of the main people for this company was there and he was trying to sell the soaps as well as raise product awareness. The soaps are all natural and they smell absolutely heavenly! I bought a bunch for myself and my family! I absolutely love them, and once we are finished, I am going to have to buy some more! I totally recommend purchasing some!

I used to get my hair cut here often but the staff seems to change out more so than I'd like. Also why do people with curly hair have to pay so much more? That's ridiculous. Charge per hour if you want to play that game. I had to fight the girl every dang time I got a haircut. The second person I went with didn't know how to cut hair and talked about how she hated cutting hair. At this point I just cut my own hair. As for the store part, it's alright. When I called Dr Heaphy's office to question this mistake the receptionist could not have been more rude. When I questioned why there was no phone call made right away to me regarding this issue, all she did was pass the blame and avoided my question... This receptionist kept telling me they sent notice letters to me, even after I told her I moved from Lima in 2013 at least 6 times. But that's not the point... The point is that if I didn't respond to the first, or the second, or the third letter, why wouldn't you call me to try and correct this issue? And not 2 years after the fact?! I mean, I feel like it's common sense! Then she blamed me for not leaving a forwarding address... I mean, how was I to know I would be billed for something I already paid for? It takes a lot to get me upset but she managed to do it during our 5:57 second phone call. So my advice to all new or current patients: Keep all your receipts from them for a minimum of 2 years apparently to make sure they don't double charge you... BTW- I had a couple moles removed and the stitching was sub-par. I had to go to a new dermatologist in Columbus to try and hide the new scars.

But, I was absolutely taken aback when he abruptly stopped, and again, in a very dismissive tone, he told me that he would NOT treat my coloring problem until my face was completely healed. So, in that same dismissive tone of voice he told me to call for an appointment when my face was totally healed. He then turned and just walked right out of the room! I could NOT believe what had just happened! To this day, I still do not have a clue as to why he acted that way that day. But, I guess I'll never know because I will NEVER make the mistake of seeing HIM again!

I moved to a nearby town back in 2020 and will admit to doing something people from where I come from (Miami, Florida) do. They completely ignore people and the situation and do what they want. See I did not notice a huge line of people waiting to be let in, in small groups at a time into the store. I just boom, walked in and started shopping. Thankfully for me, no one noticed! At least no store employee did. I got the stuff I was looking for, got helped by a store employee even to find them. I was then was reminded by a different store employee to remember to go on my app for coupons and rebates if I was a rewards member, which I had completely forgotten about! That saved me some money! The line to pay for my items was a little long and took me 20 minutes to get thru, but thats rather quick for Black Friday. Then I walked out, and to my chagrin i then noticed the line! Wow! I felt really bad! The line went down a large length of the mall! Apologies to everyone I skipped!!! Anyway, my family and I got the stuff I needed... in record time...
