We called our insurance, they said you absolutely have coverage, it just needs to go under medical insurance for an extraction (common knowledge for a dental provider). They refused. Tried to up sell him on $1500 bill for an extraction. He opted out of the "additional" services, choosing to go to an oral surgeon for any further treatment. He finally just paid cash. Then to top it off they made an appointment with him for 11.30 today to remove stitches and he arrived only to find them closed for the holiday. He's going to anyone other than these people. Oh and they offered to let him take out their own credit card to charge the $1500. WTH. I will make sure my entire community knows about this terrible experience.

Dr. Weigand uses state of the art equipment to identify problems early, and fix them quickly. He frequently utilizes lasers in his practice. Obviously it is at the doctors discretion when it is used so no promises on having this technology used on you, but for shallow cavities the doctor was able to use a laser device to remove and fill the cavities without having to numb me. It was awesome! Instead of being in there for an hour and not being able to eat for the next few hours, I was in and out in about 25 minutes and had nothing preventing normal eating or drinking. There was a cold sensation associated with the use of the device but there wasn't any pain. I'm sure the experience can differ from person to person and cavity to cavity, but it was amazing technology. While he is a bit on the pricey side, if you have good dental insurance I would highly suggest seeing Dr. Weigand.
