I was recently involved in a terrible car accident. I was advised by the ER to follow up with my primary care. I haven't been evaluated by his office in 2 years. I called for an appointment and they declined seeing me with no fault insurance being that I haven't been seen in a few years. Understandable. I then asked, with my given symptoms (neck pain and hand swelling), can I been seen with medical insurance? Then declined seeing me again. This is not common practice. I work for a doctors office making appointments, yes it's not the best job but I know first hand this is not a reason to decline a patient. Secondly, I called a different physician and I was able to be seen with no fault AND medical. The receptionist was rude and doesn't know protocol. There are many other primary care offices in the surrounding area, please refrain from using this office.

He has treated me twice for similar situations, and never once did I feel like "just another patient", he is personal, funny and completely calm even when I freak out. For anything that a podiatrist can help with this is the man to see. I am a patient of his at the diabetic wound care center in St. Catherine's Hospital and the entire staff is amazing, I'm almost happy to go there ;)
