I needed paint to match my exterior stucco wall but I was only able to get several pathetically small pieces to collectively amount to about to an inch of color sample (and I was cringing bc I was really messing up the wall to get them). Eddie said it was definitely on the small side, but he thought he would be able to do it. Well, I picked up the paint today and I just watched the paint dry on a large test spot (yes, I was that impatient and invested - I had to redo the whole repair bc both the patch and paint needed to be redone; btw thanks to the other guy also there yesterday who convinced me to get the real stucco repair compound instead of the acrylic patch I used the first time) and the match is FREAKING PERFECT. Eddie exactly matched the paint using a teeny-tiny-all-in-pieces-bare-minimum sample for STUCCO, not something easy like drywall. I am seriously so grateful. If Eddie tells you he needs time to get it right, you give that artist all the time he needs. Like I can't see where I painted at all. It's PERFECT. Did I mention that it's perfect? No? Well, it is. This Dunn-Edwards Paint store has been around since my family moved near here in 1978! In fact,…read morewhenever I think paint, I always think of this place. :-) Recently, I decided to clear out my garage of old paint cans my parents had kept. Thankfully, this Dunn-Edwards will accept old paint so long as it's still in its can and has a readable label on it (no spray paint cans, please). Even better, since I'm an early-bird, they open at 6:30am! The guy working the store in the mornings is fantastic, and even let me borrow a nice big platform hand truck to load my old paint onto. He even helped me move the paint from my car and pushed it all back into the store! Can't ask for better customer service than that. :-)

I had to leave a message and Marc called me back, as promised on the greeting, within the hour. He was wonderful and patiently listened to my sad tale of desperation and woe. Just the calming response I needed. I won't detail all of the back and forth I subjected him to. I will just say he was extremely responsive and helpful and scheduled an appt for me that worked with my schedule. It turns out that I didn't need to use Marc's services - I was able to get in and replace the deadbolt without the need for a locksmith. HOWEVER - if I ever need the services of a locksmith, Marc with Cole Hardware will be my first call.... without hesitation.

I chose not to engage and left it alone. A few weeks later, I returned and noticed that stickers had been placed over all of the QR codes on the LEGO minifigure boxes. Another family was also looking at them, but because they could not check what they were buying, they decided not to purchase any. I try to support local stores whenever possible, but this experience was disappointing. Being mocked by an employee for how I chose to shop was unnecessary and unprofessional. Unless the store acknowledges the issue or offers an apology, I will not be buying toys here again.
