I needed paint to match my exterior stucco wall but I was only able to get several pathetically small pieces to collectively amount to about to an inch of color sample (and I was cringing bc I was really messing up the wall to get them). Eddie said it was definitely on the small side, but he thought he would be able to do it. Well, I picked up the paint today and I just watched the paint dry on a large test spot (yes, I was that impatient and invested - I had to redo the whole repair bc both the patch and paint needed to be redone; btw thanks to the other guy also there yesterday who convinced me to get the real stucco repair compound instead of the acrylic patch I used the first time) and the match is FREAKING PERFECT. Eddie exactly matched the paint using a teeny-tiny-all-in-pieces-bare-minimum sample for STUCCO, not something easy like drywall. I am seriously so grateful. If Eddie tells you he needs time to get it right, you give that artist all the time he needs. Like I can't see where I painted at all. It's PERFECT. Did I mention that it's perfect? No? Well, it is. House of Color has a huge selection of Benjamin Moore, with corresponding paint 'chips'. I'm the kind of person who can spent 2 hours deciding on a white. There's always someone behind the counter to help you. I recommend taking the cards outside where there isn't artificial light. Every painter I have worked with recommended Benjamin Moore. So go. Giovani was yucking it up with a painter as I entered. He then went behind the counter, and was stone-cold, condescending, unhelpful, surly and rude throughout my transaction with him. He acted like my mere presence was irritating him to the max. I was the only customer in the store, so he was hardly rushed. I came with a list of the specific paint I wanted: name and number of the color, the sheen, and the amount. Pretty straightforward. I didn't "bother" him by asking for any advice except for a recommendation for the primer. He mumbled that it really didn't matter .... umm, o.k. then, I guess. I'd sprung for the Emerald line, so thought it did might have mattered. What do I know? He acted like my questions, and my mere presence in his store, were personally insulting. Maybe his manager will take note of this review. Or maybe he's the manager? In that case, he can pat himself on the back for getting away with some of the worst customer service ever!!!

Since I knew we were painting the rooms white, we decided to just check the Benjamin Moore at Taraval for our paint. The service is great here. You may have to wait as it seems they are pretty busy with contractors stopping in for purchases. The personnel here is super helpful and the prices on the Benjamin Moore paint are good! Both stores the Taraval or Geary Benjamin Moore is a great place to pick up your paint for your project.

The hubby and I are redoing a bathroom and I read SW was one of the best paints out there. I was originally just gonna buy a gallon of the white and a sample of the gray blue looking lullaby later in the month, but due to the timing of the sale, a coupon, and a CC offer, I would have spent about the same amount of money, so why not just get a galloon of each. I ended up using a $10 coupon and got a $20 cash back offer, so my total was $106.64. Normally, each gallon is $88.49 per, so x2 that woulda been $176.98. Plus tax and eco fee, that's more than $190. Not a bad deal if I say so myself. Tho SW seems to offer a lot of deals and coupon codes, so I'd do a few searches before purchasing. This location is small, but seems to have all the main paint store offerings. Walls of color samples, panel stickers for purchase, etc. Tho when there 2+ people, it can feel really slow since there was only one person helping everyone out. And some customers take a while. I was only here to do a pickup order, but he was already helping someone out, so I told him I'd go look at the paint samples. When he was done, someone else tried to get in line, but luckily he remembered I was next and helped me. Not sure if they just staff one person at a time, but if not and there's someone in the back, maybe they can help with customers when there's more than two in the store. We had 4 people in the store and I was second on line. From arrival to leaving with paint, it took about 20 mins, which I think is waaay too long for an order placed online for pickup.
