I needed the drainage pipe from my bathroom replaced. Bob came out quickly and repaired for a reasonable price. He thought the drain was still running slow, snaked it, and got a hairball. I think we'll be very happy. Kroll Construction was here doing a bathroom update 4 years ago, saw the problem, told us we'd have to replumb the whole house to fix it, so put on a bandage. They charged $200 for a crappy job, Bob Bennett charged $400 to fix the whole problem, and it did NOT require changes to the whole plumbing system. Had a problem with my AC unit which they fixed. Some time later did not receive an invoice in the mail. I see today that they had filed a small claims lawsuit against my fiancée rather than contact me, or send me a bill. Do not deal with these people unless you want to deal with a lady over the phone that needs an attitude adjustment. They have a very lazy secretary with good workers. She mentioned that lots of people call with this same problem, but apparently it hasn't been addressed. Total bitch over the phone. read more

Had them install a dishwasher in June 2019. Today, it will not drain. Called to have them come out and look at it. Plumber was rude and mumbled to me he does not fix dishwashers and to call an appliance company. Told him the dishwasher is working and it is a draining issue. On a Monday I called the office number and was referred to the plumber's cell number so I called left a message. Didn't hear back so like ok he is busy. On Wednesday I get call saying he would able to come over on Thursday morning to see. I said ok and gave my info and he said he would call in morning on when he was coming. Thursday morning at 8 got a call stating on his way. Pulled up in a unmarked van and introduced himself, Jim and also colleague Tom. Came in and saw the pipe said this sewage pipe would needed to be replace all the way up to kitchen ceiling from the basement and they would need more time to do this and he would call about a quote on Friday. I wasn't charged a diagnostic/ service fee so that a plus. But as the business hours on Friday passed by I didn't receive a call. So I can assume he got busy and forgot. My kitchen sink was draining slowly till I finally had to start bailing the water out. Called Bennett Plumbing and Bob Bennett responded. I was charged $125.00 for the first visit but his 25 foot snake was too short. The next day he appeared with a 50 foot snake and after failing to resolve the issue, gave the diagnostic that the this snake was also insufficient in length to cut through tree roots he claimed was obstructing the piping. Two months later I hired another company that ran a 100 foot snake and a camera through the relevant piping. I discovered thay my drains were clear and the diagnostics Bennett gave were false. My problem was a pipe just below the sink that is also like a vent. Reported Bob Bennett to the Better Business Bureau but Mr. Bennett didn't respond. Consumer Beware! Mr.Bennett may be more adept at scamming unsuspecting people than he is at opening drains. read more

Bennett just did some work for me on a gas line in my house. They've done a lot of work for my parents in the past and my parents were always pleased. To make a long story short, they did a great job and were about $300 cheaper for a job that I had another plumbing company quote. In fact, the other plumbing company said they would have to drill a hole through my back wall and run the pipe outside and then back in the house, costing the extra bucks. Not so, said Bennet. My repair need was a gas leak in the basement, and they provided a pressure test and fixed the leak. Horrible deceptive company. My mother is 88 years old. She is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever known and nope, I'm not even a mama's boy. This company came in, a guy named Robert. My mom believes it is all family. all with the last name of Bennett. She has dealt with a man named Frank Bennett before. whether they are or not I don't know but this guy " Robert " told her he gets his bathroom faucets from Dukes. Told my mother it was a Delta. The bill totaled $167 for as many of you know, a job that takes all of about 5 minutes tops. On the bill there is no mention of brand-name at all. It also says $10 labor meaning that unfortunately the faucet cost $157 but hey, we're so nice were only charging you $10 labor. There was not one marking of any kind on the faucet. After looking online for about 20 minutes I found what I believe to be the faucet sold at Walmart I believe by ordering for $12.95. When I went to operate the two separate knobs they actually flexed as if they were on plastic rods. Pushing a little harder would have busted it right off. I just can't believe that a company would be so deceitful and take advantage of especially somebody that they don't believe would know any difference. A sweet elderly woman who wouldn't hurt a fly. . I called them this morning to repair my water heater and they arrived within an hour. When they saw it he said it couldn't be repaired and had to be replaced. I called Bennett today after my attempts to clear a clogged sink drain failed. Their equipment was broken, but they referred me to the guy at Muskett Sewer Cleaning, who came out within an hour. The problem turned out to be too big for Muskett to fix, but he didn't charge me at all for coming out. Finally, after my landlord decided to use somebody he knew to replace the pipe, Bennett still gave me a free estimate of what it ought to cost, just so I knew what to expect. So, even though I didn't end up needing their plumbing services (yet), their customer service is obviously excellent and their recommendations are trustworthy. First off, I'll start by saying I haven't had work done by these guys. However, I got left stranded. I had them quote the job and originally picked someone else who fell through. Then, I went back to Bennett the Friday before Memorial day and let him know of final changes to the quote. No work from them until I started pestering them on Tuesday, and received the final quote on Tuesday at 6 PM. Mind you, this job was supposed to start Wednesday. Asked for a copy of license and insurance to double check their statements, and never received them. Also asked him to sign my contract (3 pgs) in addition to me signing his, and never heard from him again. Left me stranded on the day he was supposed to start without any phone call or information and I've got some plumbing work that was URGENT to be done today.
