As we were walking to the back of the store, two employees looked up at us, neither greeted us. We got to the back of the store, a worker walked by , she neither greeted us or offered to help. In total the time we looked NO ONE greeted or offered to help us. We are all about supporting our locally owned businesses, unfortunately we spent our money at Shoe Show that day!!! Times have changed at Sports Zone it would seem. Faith and Debbie were always so pleasant and eager to help!!! Maybe they could do some Custom Service training with the current employees!!

It was obvious he was knowledgeable, and he was looking out for my best interest. Ultimately, I ordered the first pair that I tried on (in a color they didn't have in stock). I'm looking forward to getting and wearing my new shoes, and I am confident that they are the best shoe for what is going on with my heel. Jonathan was amazing, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Specifically, I am a big fan of the BC stores including BC Outdoors, BC Market on the Square and BC Bakery. Regarding Bryson City Outdoors, they are connected to a tap hours so gear on the left and beer on the right. What's not to love? If you don't love beer they have wine too! Much to my surprise, I skipped the beer and went for gear. After perusing fleece jackets, hiking shoes, headlamps and the such, I landed on a new pair of socks. Not that I needed anything but the employees were so kind I just had to support this local business somehow. Hmm, maybe I should have gotten a pint after all. Lots of good stuff and quality brands for the whole family - all nicely organized. Overall, a great place located on the corner of Main Street and Everett. As I walked through this small, cozy store, I was taken aback by the variety of items for sale - more variety than sport! Juanita told me she had a bag of bargain white tee shirts in the back - all $1 and all 4X! She said she bought them from someone who assured her they were all different sizes. They were not. In hindsight, I should have bought one or more. You never know when you might want to be swallowed up in a soft extra large tee! She also has a lot of books, all reasonably priced. I wish that I had had more time to stay and chat with Juanita. She's the best part of this shop!
