DO NOT COME HERE I came here on October 12th 2025 for a belly button piercing. It was confirmed by AT LEAST 4 piercing places later that that would completely false news. I DID have the anatomy for the initial piercing I wanted AND did not for the one they suggested and I got. Even at this, they did not do it properly, piercing my surface of my stomach and not my belly button. They continued to put off my questions about proper healing and where to find jewelry later on, especially because they pierced me with a 14mm bar which is not even possibly to buy being that belly button bars are typically 10mm. I am incredibly upset with my time here I now have wasted $100, 3 months of my time, and have a permanent scar for the rest of my life. Staff was nice but means nothing when they're not doing their piercings right. Please learn from my mistake.

I made an appointment for Wednesday instead since that was the next time I was free. The guy who greeted me was very friendly. I let him know that I was interested in two helix piercings and he showed me the studs/rings that people typically get. I knew that I wanted rings (though beware: getting piercing with rings might make the healing process more annoying because the piercing can be irritated more easily) so I picked the surgical steel rings. (I don't remember if they were implant grade now though. I didn't react to the material anyway. For people looking to get pierced, you should double check that.) Chuck was both professional and very helpful. When he was marking the placement on my ears, he gave me a few choices and even suggested one combo over another. I was thankful for it because I have super tiny ears and I didn't want it to look too crowded. Nearly 5 months later, my piercings are perfectly fine. There was some irritation along the way (totally my fault, I'm fidgety...) and a little bump formed but I continued to do the suggested sea salt soaks and my piercings have healed beautifully. As for jewelry selections, I didn't take much time to browse, but it seemed like they had a good variety to choose from. Especially a great place for Rutgers students to get pierced since it's a brief walk from CAC to Easton Ave. I have a friend who's gone here twice -- once for a nose piercing and another for her own helix. Getting an appointment was simple, just fill out a form online and the staff will contact you regarding what exactly you want and when you're available. They do have walk-ins, but this can be hard if you're looking for a certain artist or if you're in a time crunch. Your best bet is to call and inquire first before walking in! Leading up to my nostril piercing, I was very anxious. Katey made the process really easy by showing me the different sizes of the piercings and making sure I like the placement of the marker. She also explained the process well. The actual piercing itself was super quick and felt like a pinch. I like that she gave me a paper with aftercare instructions, a card that has the date and size of my piercing, and her Instagram so that if I had any questions, I could reach out to her. The tattoo process with Eva was easy too. My sister and I wanted matching tattoos, so Eva made it easy for us to coordinate so that we'd be able to watch each other get tattooed. She was able to quickly adjust her draft, when my sister suggested a small change to the design. In our original design, the moon was fully filled in, but Eva suggested the peppered shading, which I love! The lines are crisp and straight, and the overall design is clean! I would love to come back either for another piercing or another tattoo. In the meantime, I'll be gathering inspiration for my next one!

When I told him I had something, he said he wanted to drive home and because I really wanted to get a tattoo that day I said OK it's not the right color and it's not the right size and I'm actually in the process of getting it covered up. Luka was very respectful, he talked me through each step process and I asked to take a break I think about 4 times, 3-4 times, and they respected my request and was calm and professional throughout the whole process. Luka was very thorough and knowledgeable about the aftercare as well since the last 2 tattoo artists I've gone to never gave me any aftercare advice.
