I was helped by Savannah with my lobe piercing and had a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend her. I knew I wanted the piercing done by a professional not in a shopping mall so Ink Therapy it was. Savannah was very patient with me as I was deciding the location of the piercing. Honestly deciding was the longest part. She explains every step she will be doing so there are no surprises. The needle insertion was so quick- the pain wasn't bad at all. Much better than the traditional piercing gun. $110 for both lobes-cash price. This includes the stud earrings they pierce you with and a small pack of Himalayan salt for disinfecting your ears. dude took an hour and half to draw me a stick figure, of which of the time was most spent outside on a cigarette break with no warning as to how long I'd be sitting there... he finally showed me what he was working on and I kid you not it was a stick figure for $100 over the budget I told him to keep it at... I came here some weeks ago to get my earlobes pierced. The actual piercing went fine, the shop is clean and there were no issues at first. I was charged around $140 with taxes and tip, which seems to be significantly more than what you can expect for a simple pair of earlobe piercings, and was told that the earrings were real diamonds, which is an obvious lie. I was given the advice that I could change out the earrings after 3 weeks, which is not true and I waited 7 weeks as my research indicated. When it came time to take out the starter earrings, I was unable to take them out; though they had healed properly, the earrings themselves would not unscrew. I asked my mom for help, whose ears have been pierced for 40 years, and we both struggled for half an hour before giving up. I called the establishment hoping they would be able to help me out, and they informed me that it would be a $15 charge per ear to remove the earring. When I asked if they would consider waiving the fee because the need for the service arose from a mistake that the piercer had made and I believed that the shop should be responsible for poor quality piercing, the woman on the phone actually began to raise her voice at me, so I hung up. I ended up seeking help from a family friend who is a nurse and is experienced with piercings. It took her 15 minutes with multiple clamps to get the earrings out. If I had not had this family friend, I would have had to have seek actual medical help to remove the earrings. The earrings were either screwed far too tightly, screwed on the wrong thread improperly, or what I believe to be the case; the shop incorrectly used permanent jewelry to give me simple earlobe piercings. They refused to correct their mistake which necessitated help from a medical professional, were rude and belligerent, and the experience has left me considerably sour. read more

Im so disappointed, the reviews made me think this place was trust worthy and i feel completely blind sided. I got my belly button pierced and my nipples pierced by the same person on the same day, and he completely messed up both of them. He didnt mark any of my piercings, just went straight for it which caused my nipple piercings to be so crooked and lopsided that the skin looks like it will rip through any day now. My belly button was pierced completely incorrectly, the whole piercing was above my belly button and didnt even touch the top because they pierced it so high above my belly button, this ended up getting ruined because it was done wrong and now i have scars there that havent gone away read more

Can't say enough good things about Joe. He does the piercings for this shop. I went in on a whim back in August for a nose piercing and the experience brought me back for a daith and forward helix, among others. Joe is gentle and takes his time. You can tell he knows his stuff and values the customer experience and well being. I originally wanted a triple forward helix but he talked me into doing a double and leaving room to allow for proper healing. To me, that shows that he cares about ME and not just what I'm paying. That means more than anything. I'll be back to see him again because now he's built my trust. I went back in today for my first tattoo in 19 years and again, nothing but a great experience. Chris was nice and informative, did everything like a true professional and also gave me a complimentary himalayan salt to use as disinfecting solution. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I made an appointment for a tattoo and gave a deposit. The artist, Chris, calls me the day before my appointment to and cancels, and we left it open ended regarding making a new appointment. Notably, Chris mentioned that he hadn't had time to sketch out my tattoo or do any work toward it yet. Admittedly, time passed, things happened, and the tattoo slipped my mind. Fast forward, I call to reclaim my deposit. Chris tells me there's a "policy" that deposits aren't refunded. I ask to speak with the owner and Chris gives the phone to Joe. HERE'S WHERE THINGS GET WEIRD. Joe immediately starts yelling that "people who no-show appointments and dont reschedule don't get their deposits back." I informed him that his artist had cancelled on me- he then says "You're lying! I dont believe you!" I tell him to ask his own artist, who admits that he cancelled the appointment, but says that I promised to call back with my new appointment date. Joe, who clearly didn't even listen to his own artist's words, then yells that "people who no-show after re-scheduling don't get their deposits back!" I, again, told him that I never no-showed and nothing was re-scheduled. He then tells me that "I can sue him in small claims court", and that they'll honor the deposit against the tattoo if I come in to do it (why would I ever go back there to have it done???). He then goes tells me that I am lying, and that "he remembers me". I inform him that Chris was the only person in the shop the day I went there (a female receptionist was there too), I had stopped there on a whim, and that I have never had any contact with him. He then yells that "You [I] messaged me every day for months about a tattoo" and called the shop all the time. I WENT TO THE SHOP ONCE ON A WHIM, AND HAVE NEVER, EVER TALKED TO THIS PERSON. I ask him if he regularly treats customers like this and he tells me that "people complain to him this all the time", and when I proceed to tell him that maybe he should consider what all these other people are saying he tells me, again, that if I want my money I can sue him in small claims court. Just a bizarre experience. Joe is clearly an unstable liar. I'd avoid this place at all costs. read more

He was super sweet and gave me tips to help me decide which earring I wanted. He ended up giving me another piercing to take home! I live in Staten Island and only trusted Justin Zak with this one piece that I really wanted. A mandala piece. His line work is the BEST out there and he has very light hands. I sat for about four hours and I was super comfortable and NEVER experienced a moment of pain. My other tattoos were done from an artist with VERY heavy hands that hurt. This was like a vacation for me!! Fast forward I am SO happy with the finished product. I see a lot of these specific tattoos being done but you truly just have to trust the artist you go to and have them take it in their hands. I am SO happy with the finished product. Every piercing i got from Joe and tattoo from Chris was great! That new girl, botched my tattoo and tried to outline it in white to recover her mistakes. (unprofessional and rude). I decided to get my 6th tattoo done here because my previous shop moved. I requested a finger tattoo of a mushroom and they told me the risks, which I agreed to. I have a hand tattoo so I already knew the risks going into it. I got paired with Miguel who at first was really nice. The day of the tattoo I was the first appointment and he was an hour late to the studio. I really didn't care though cause that was the only thing I had to do that day. He did the tattoo with a really small needle and told me that it might not take completely and I'd need to come back, which I was fine with. I was really pleased with the tattoo, and after three weeks some of it had fallen out. So I went back to get it done over with a thicker needle. I'm newly an adult woman and I'm not the best at standing up for myself, but I'm not dumb. I grew up with a dad with tons of tattoos and I've been doing research on them since I was 12. When I called to make an appointment, Miguel seemed frustrated with me. He said he told me it is going to fade, and I tried to explain that it didn't fade, there were parts that had fallen out. He kept talking over me, I thought he was just having a hard day so I didn't say anything, and I made the appointment. I figured when he saw the tattoo he'd understand what I was trying to say. When I come into the shop, I'm met with Miguel and whoever the owner is. I say what I'm there for and the owner immediately acts annoyed by me. He says I'm just going to have to keep getting it redone, that I don't know anything about tattoos, that the ink is going to fade quickly. I try to defend myself as much as my social anxiety will allow. I say I don't care if I have to get it redone, that Miguel told me that I could come back for a larger needle, and that I've seen finger stick and pokes that lasted longer than this tattoo. Every time I'd try to explain that I've done the research and I have a hand tattoo, the owner would interrupt me to tell me that I don't know anything. He called me things like "missy" and "girl". Miguel didn't yell at me like the owner did, but he didn't listen to me either. I was crying by the end but I still did the tattoo. They didn't charge me since it was so small but I still tipped a lot because they still used up materials on me. It has now been over four months since I got it done with the thicker needle and none of it has fallen out, it's only a little faded. Which is exactly what is supposed to happen if the tattoo is done correctly. I wanted to wait to write this review, because even though they were extremely rude they could have been right. But now I know they were just rude. I've found another artist who treats me like an adult and who assured me that their behavior is unprofessional. Don't waste your time or your money here. The only good thing was the piercing girl who waited an hour with me before Miguel got to the first session was pretty cool. read more

Went there years ago for nose piercing. It really hurt and wasn't a good experience. Joe was the piercer. About a month ago, I wanted a larger stone so I went there and got one. Two weeks ago I was cleaning my nose and the jewelry literally fell out of my nose. I went there to have a new one put in.. and was informed from Jenna the hole is closed. She gave me sea salt for healing process, and told me to return in a week or so. I made an appointment with Joe on the website and asked for Friday 8/26/22. I got there and mentioned to Joe I am on a blood thinner but didn't take it last evening nor this morning. He told me he needs to do research. Well I don't think he ever did! as a supposed to be a (professional piercer) he should have known its OK to pierce and tattoo. I researched I also and also found a very experienced piercer and went there on September 2, 2022 and didn't even know my nose was pierced..Katey did a phenomenal job. I wanted to make an appointment with Mia I gave her $60 deposit I wanted a mom holding an Angel baby cuz I am doing a half asleep and dedication to my son that passed away I sent her a picture of what I wanted she sent me a picture of a drawing I told her I didn't like it the baby look like a sack of potatoes then she sent me two other pictures of stuff she's done on other clients I didn't like those either personally I thought they look s***** I'm not going to pay $250 for something that's not pristine and looks good I don't mind paying the money if it's a good tattoo but I don't think she draws as good as she thinks so I didn't want to lose my deposit so I already have will tattooed on my wrist it's on my wrist so it's small so I was going to have her do gods g o d s on the bottom of my will four letters okay then I was going to have her do two more letters capital r capital j on my ring finger small letters of course cuz it's on my finger okay so all the lettering is small she's trying to charge me over $80 to do six letters that's crazy to me and I really don't even trust that her lines would be pristine so I told her that I didn't like it and I thought the price was a little much to do six letters that are small very small lettering cuz ones on my finger ones on my wrist my wrist is not that big so she said I was giving her an attitude and being very rude so she gave me back my $60 deposit okay fine but I also bought a snake eyes ring from them it was $10 that's a fine price cuz they're hard to find and then they're telling me they want 15 more dollars to change the barbell I said are you serious I said cuz where I get my piercings done they change the barbell for $5 so that's crazy so I guess she really didn't like that I was complaining about her pricing told me I was rude and then I left so I would never use this place again guys their work is not pristine their lines are not clean they can't even draw a good picture it was the back of a baby's head and the back of the baby's back that had two angel wings on it and it's seriously look like a sack of potatoes I don't mind paying more money for quality work but you're not going to get quality work from this place don't even waste your time or your money. read more
