The deal is, the boots themselves were in great shape, but the soles and heels were crap. Total crap. I asked to have them re-heeled, and he kinda laughed at me, then asked me to put down a $10 deposit to make sure that I would come back and get them, I guess. Not that it was an issue, obviously I love the boots, or I wouldn't have brought them in, right? So, he says he is swamped and they would be ready in like 10 days. I call back on 10 days...oh, not ready, he says... ok so I wait a while longer, and I believe I finally got them back after a month or so. Really a pretty long wait for re-heeling. But, when I did get them back, they looked FANTASTIC! He polished them up and they looked better than new. The finished product was perfect. I would give 1 star for service/time taken to finish and 5 stars for the actual finished product. He did a beautiful job, but don't know if I would go back....don't want to wait a month for the job to get done.

If you are in the area for business or just need to give your shoes a pick'er upper or repair stop by he can take care of you on the spot even on a lunch break! This was my first visit and he only charged $20 for the "spit shine" and had them ready and looking amazing on time as he originally told me. He's a very nice courteous, kind and professional man. When I finally went back with the last shirt, still on hanger and tagged, the lady told me that "light starch", which I had requested would not show until the next time they were starched. I thought someone would have spoken to me about that when I dropped them off, but apparently they didn't know what I was asking or they didn't know how to communicate to me what would really happen. So essentially I paid $5.00 each for a wash and iron. I have also since learned that most laundries only starch while washing, and don't spray collars, cuffs, and front alone, which is what I had asked for. The folks there were nice to deal with. Some verbal communication regarding my request would have been helpful.
