We were in town to see the Trolls and stayed at Bent Creek Lodge. First of all, the staff was exceptional. Very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the lodge has lots of extras. Great indoor fireplace and pool table. There is a huge upper and lower deck for chilling and lots of property you can walk around on. It is about 10 min from stores but their cans of been and wine were very well priced. Easy to get to, good parking and super quiet. It's about 20min to Biltmore Village so your not far from everything. Breakfast was very good as well.

We had a lovely trip to the Bent Creek Lodge. It's very conveniently located about 15 minutes away from Asheville. It's close to the river and river related activities. The setting is idyllic. There are droves of hummingbirds coming to the feeders on the deck. It's just a stunning and beautiful location nestled in the forest. The staff was as pleasant as they could be and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable while you were there. They serve up a five star breakfast every morning with a rotating menu so you don't really get the same thing two days in a row. They are helpful, polite, and gracious. The owners around and shares the same attitude and approach that clearly trickles down through the staff. The room was very pleasant, had individual individualized, climate control, and fairly new equipment. It's perfectly fine for what we needed. Highly recommend this lodge and I think we'll probably be back. A great place to go relax and unwind and do an environment with our people who seem to care about what they do

This was our third time here. There is just something special about this place. It's almost a fairy tale setting in the forest on a hill, trees all around. Just this quaint lodge not too far from town. That's just the outside of it. The inside is just as spectacular. It's homie, comfortable, warm, and really an escape from stress at home. This time we stayed in the fern room which is on the lower level and was full of all those good touches. From wireless device charging to a Jacuzzi bathtub, it was much better than home. I believe every room has its own door to the outside patio and ours was just outside of some swinging benches and rocking chairs. The main floor has a wonderful living room setting with plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas with plenty of books to read and plenty of games to play. There are plenty of snacks to choose from and soda is free during your stay. Wine and beer costs and is on the honor system and freely available. There are plenty of information brochures about local touristy hot spots. The best part about this place is the service. Randy the owner has really gone all out to make sure that everyone is impressed and wants to come back! The breakfast service has always been so great. The food has been pretty much gourmet and you are so getting what you paid for in the room with all of this stuff included. Maybe the best part is just the attitude here. It's always with a smile and always concluded with them asking if there's anything else they can do to help out. It's genuine and it's real. These days, customer service is different and a lot of us miss what it used to be. My family took a trip to a foreign country last year and we were caught a bit off guard by how friendly the customer service was. Bent Creek Lodge reminded me of that and it's a reason why this place deserves every praise and accolade it can get. Thank you to Randy, Alma, and Ashley for making our stay wonderful. Did I forget to mention that we had our wedding here on this trip? Yes, they perform weddings and it was just a small eloping ceremony with our parents as witnesses. But it was special and romantic and something I will never forget. To finish out, my mother-in-law originally didn't want to stay here because it was a bit expensive for her. I covered her because we had a wedding fund and frankly I just wanted her to stay here and experience what we have experienced over the years. Afterwards she reimbursed me saying that it was such a great experience and completely worth all of the money we paid. That just goes to show you that this place is damn special! Looking forward to going back soon.

My husband and I have really enjoyed our stays at the Bent Creek Lodge! It is our destination of choice when treating ourselves to a staycation, as we live, only 5 miles away. Randy and his team take excellent care of our needs and the service is exceptional. The food is also delightful! We really enjoyed this past weekend's bourbon six-course dinner pairing event.

4.5/5 stars. We had a wonderful time at Bent Creek Lodge in October 2022. Service was fantastic, and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. We chose Bent Creek Lodge because its price was reasonable for a peak leaf change weekend. The lodge was half the price of the hotels we usually stay at (which were $700-800/night due to the season). Randy and his staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were excellent! Views on the property were beautiful, and it was centrally located. We didn't stay around the lodge much, but there would have been plenty to relax and do while there. Their internet was strong enough to stream a football game to our laptop one evening, as they do not have tvs. My main concern with the lodge was its lack of soundproofing. Our neighbor guests were quiet, but every quiet sound was heard loudly in our room. I slept with earplugs and a white noise app from my phone, but loud snoring could still be heard through that at night. All words of conversations could clearly be heard during the day. I noticed that showering during peak time in the morning had its issues; our water fluctuated between hot and cold during one shower. This did not occur in the evenings. I dislike microfiber sheets due to their heat retention and lack of breathability, but I know this is a personal preference. I would stay at Bent Creek Lodge again.

What a great find! This lodge is nestled about a mile down a narrow road in a wooded area that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, yet is only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. The owner, Randy, who bought the inn in late 2019, is a charm. He will bend over backward to make sure all guests are happy with their stay. The inn is absolutely impeccable in every way. I tried to find something that wasn't perfect during our 3 night stay, and failed. It is super clean, and the bedding makes you not want to get up in the morning. Our room had a good size balcony facing the woods and landscapes garden. All the staff wore masks and were very conscientious of the pandemic, and they required guests to wear masks as well when not in their room or dining. The included breakfasts were different each day and were huge and delicious (see photos). The property has acres of hiking trails, and a winding, well landscaped path that leads down to a fire pit complete with chopped wood and bug spray for guests to use. There's a grill that can be used although we didn't get around to it. The lodge doesn't have a restaurant per se (other than breakfast) but there are a couple restaurants 5 minutes down the road if you don't want to drive into Asheville. We got carry out one day and brought it back to the hotel. There is a long terrace on all 3 levels of the lodge with Adirondack chairs and swings, which we sat out on every afternoon and had cocktails. There is a river across the street where you can fish or go tubing, and a pool table in the main room, but we just wanted to hang at the lodge given how nice it was.

Stayed at Bent Creek Lodge for a weekend get away with my husband and we are so glad we stumbled across this gem in our search for lodging. It was super clean, beautifully decorated for Christmas, had friendly staff, and delicious breakfasts that set you up for a day of adventure/fun! I would highly recommend this place and we plan to come back and stay again!

Our second stay at the Bent Creek Lodge. First time was in September of 2017. Beautiful fall colors at the time. New ownership now and the quality has only improved. Same welcoming atmosphere, great breakfast of course, clean comfortable room, we stayed in the same room as 2017. It seems to me that the staff is friendlier and eager to help this visit. The grounds are quiet and restful. There's easy access to area activities by car. It's close but the location makes it seem remote.

This is a quaint mountain stay with a short drive to Asheville restaurants & shopping. We would rate our experience as *perfect* in every way possible. Randy, the owner, is exceptional in his care, attention to detail, & hospitality. Ashley & Abby are so very sweet. We enjoyed our time with them & the other guests. This was our first visit, but it will be the first of many. We plan to invite our couples next time & stay longer. This is a must see & stay for every lover of North Carolina!! read more

Hi Dianne!…
This a top notch B&B owned and operated by a very kind, caring, attentive and lovely owner Randy. My husband researched and found this absolutely gorgeous B&B and surprised me with an overnight trip to Asheville. First off, be aware the uphill road leading up to the B&B is narrow and does accommodate cars going up and coming down it. There is a community around the B&B, but there is so many trees and foliage, you really never see any of the other houses as they are spread out amongst the hills. Once you arrive at the parking lot of the B&B you feel as though you have been transported far away within its own space and hill/mountain area. Upon approach to the inviting double front doors, you are greeted by gorgeous gardens and an inviting porch. We rang the door bell and our host Randy opened and greeted us. We explained everyone we needed to know about the drinks available to us free (soft drinks) along with a cute coco-cola bucket filled with ice, glasses (wine & soda), coffee which is available all day along with sweeteners & creamer, tea bags and everything needed for such drinks. Also said there would be fresh cookies later afternoon for us to enjoy. On our stay, we enjoyed Raspberry Bars delish!! Our room was cozy and we slept amazing even in a queen bed (no saggy mattress). Each room has a back screen door which leads to a somewhat narrow patio. Which enables you to sit and admire and sit looking out over the absolutely gorgeously manicured gardens with mature trees, shrubs (both flowering and non-flowering), beautiful flowers, bird watch etcetera. It is so tranquil and peaceful while sitting and relaxing. Our room and bathroom was very clean and stocked with the necessary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, Q-tips, cotton balls and a makeup remover towel). On the main floor, there is a much larger patio to enjoy with a propane fire pit, comfy rocker chairs and non-rocking along with heat lanterns. There is a nice outside covered patio with high top tables to enjoy breakfast, wine, etcetera overlooking the large expansive gardens as well. Truly it was a beautiful B&B. There is a pool table, a large TV, music even a guitar (if you play) in the very over large "living room" for guests to enjoy with plenty of cozy chairs, sofa, rockets to nestle in. Great area to visit, drink hot coffee, wine etcetera. Definitely will be back on our travels into NC. Randy, thanks for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. read more

First time staying at the Bent Creek Lodge, and what a pleasant surprise! We were greeted at door by the owner, Randy, and given a tour of the dining room, fire pit, porches and our room. The Lodge is beautifully done and furnished, and we couldn't have been happier with the "homey" atmosphere. The morning staff cooked up and served a hot breakfast that fit the charm of the morning light coming through the windows. Randy provided excellent advice on finding dining and local activities. Excellent all around. Thank you for having us! read more

Absolutely gorgeous property in a serene wooded area and just steps from the Blue Ridge! There are hiking trails everywhere and Randy is an amazingly knowledgeable and gracious host. We stayed in the Luhn House, which is next door to the main lodge and also managed by the team. It was a great way for us to bring our young son and stay with another couple while enjoying the woods, a full kitchen, amazing fireplace, and hot tub on the deck! Quiet and beautiful getaway! The grounds are lovely and lush. Our room was just the right size with cozy linens. We loved being able to walk out on to a balcony and take in the view. The entire place felt like home. Randy was insistent that we make ourselves at home and so we did! It was fun to watch the playoff hockey game in thr sitting room with other guests, play a round of billiards, and explore the grounds. Don't miss the fire pit at the bottom of the hill! We spent the day traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and wanted to find something a bit different for the evening to celebrate the hubby's birthday. The Bent Creek Lodge was the perfect answer. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and offered a beverage and snacks, including melt-in-your-mouth homemade cookies. We put our things down and took two steps out the back door and the adventure began. The trees were changing colors with the approach of winter. We sat in side by side rocking chairs and simply absorbed the beauty hidden from the rest of the world. A garden filled with artistic pieces, a gateway made of wood and a trail leading to a fire pit was just the beginning. The house is filled with comforting touches to feed the weary traveling soul. With three levels it felt spacious but cozy. There were TV's, magazines and comfy couches available in common areas, along with coolers filled with various soda, wine and beer. There was plenty of seating on the main level near the kitchen area and outside on the decks for sharing a meal without being confined to our room. We stayed in the Fern Room which included a wonderful tub for two and direct access to the back porch. The bed and bedding is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and we both slept like babes. You even have the option of purchasing a set of sheets while at the lodge. The room is bright and beautiful during the day but dark and peaceful in the evening. There is even a porch light outside the room for those late night moments in the rocking chairs or swings as you contemplate your existence or just decide what tomorrows agenda may hold. The breakfast was not exceptional but very good. If you are a fan of yogurt and granola you don't want to miss this first course. The coffee was phenomenal served in mugs you can also purchase during your visit. While it was already getting a bit chilly out, we still chose to sit outside overlooking the garden area to eat. Two young ladies took exceptionally good care of us and were attentive to all the needs of the guests. The Santa Fe eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was thick and crispy, the potatoes cooked nicely and the biscuit was light and flaky. Did I mention how good the coffee was? We did venture down the trail to the fire pit area and discovered yet another personal touch. A box near the fire pit contained lighters to start the fire, flashlights to guide you back up to the property and bug spray. It's clear they have their guest's comfort in mind at Bent Creek Lodge. My only complaint is we couldn't stay longer. It felt like leaving home when we pulled away. I recommend taking at least a couple days and go spend some time away from the hustle and bustle. Once you walk through these doors, it feels as if you have transported to another time. read more

Our four night stay at the Bent Creek Lodge was absolutely perfect! The location of the lodge is ideal. It's a quick drive to Asheville or Hendersonville, yet once you're at the lodge you're transported to a remote cabin in the woods. The owner Randy has thought of every little detail to make it the most comfortable stay possible. Even though it was chilly outside, there was a heater out in the porch so we could still sit and drink some wine and enjoy the evening. Breakfast was delicious each morning and then there are afternoon treats waiting for you when you come back. I can not recommend this bed and breakfast enough. If I return to the area I will 100% be staying there again! read more

Bent Creek Lodge is the jewel of the valley. Nestled in a magical setting, our group reserved 8 of the 10 rooms for family to attend our son's nearby wedding. Everything was perfect! Randy and his staff were welcoming and accommodated every request. The rooms were first rate with high quality linens, fluffy towels and thoughtful touches. My wife and I stayed at Bent Creek Lodge for our 45th wedding anniversary, Memorial Day weekend, 2023. Despite a massage scheduling problem (for which Randy compensated us), we had a wonderful time. The entire staff was most gracious and friendly, the food was awesome, the room cozy and comfortable. I think my wife enjoyed the nearby garden the most, with it's assortment of beautiful plants and visiting wildlife, all nestled away in a forest of tall trees. It is the ideal location for local trips to Asheville sights, shops, and of course the Biltmore Estate. The cost was entirely worth it. read more

This was my first time here in the Asheville area and at Bent Creek. From the moment we checked in with Randy until we departed and checked out with Linda, everything was amazing! This amazing group of people who service the house tend to every detail and answer any question you may have with a smile. They make you feel at home and like family. I can't say enough about how beautiful and peaceful the property is. The breakfast served was so delicious and enough to hold you over till dinner. The special touches of fresh lemonade, cold beverages, and made from scratch desserts daily was so generous. Breakfast time on the porch with great conversation from the staff was looked forward to each morning. Sipping coffee, and listening to the birds while swinging was the best part of the stay for me. The back of the property was so awesome with the forest and trails available. And the detailed and well kept garden was just beautiful! The Bent Creek Lodge and personnel is situated in a mt. atmosphere that greets its guests with warm smiles and a warm fire. Both of which were a constant throughout our three-night stay. It is a newer built lodge with a rustic theme that was impressively decorated for the Christmas season. Each morning was started off with a well-balanced, plentiful and thoughtful breakfast that was served by cheerful and accommodating staff. Randy, (innkeeper extraordinaire) wore many hats successfully and flawlessly. He was the greeter, problem solver, chef, wedding minister, picture taker and fire stoker. The only thing he wouldn't do was sing for us. I am sure other members of our family group will share his effectiveness and assistance in planning this wedding. read more

We had a wonderful stay at Bent Creek Lodge this past week! Doug and Judy have created a wonderful place to rest, relax and take in the beauty that is Asheville, North Carolina. My favorite part of our stay, aside from the delicious breakfasts and friendly service, was exploring the extensive backyard garden. Such thought and detail has gone into creating this beautiful place! Hummingbirds flew freely to feeders and flowers, which was delightful to watch! The interior of this lodge is artsy, rustic, warm and inviting. I can't imagine a nicer place to stay. Thanks to everyone at Bent Creek Lodge for giving my family and me such a nice place to stay while visiting Asheville! read more

I love this place. Second time staying here and it is an absolute delight. It's a relaxing hideaway in the woods. I love sitting out on the porch watching the birds, relaxing in the main room by the fire, and walking the paths outside the back door. The accommodations are splendid. Randy and staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you desire. I love my time spent at Bent Creek Lodge and look forward to the next stay. read more

Bent Creek Lodge was the perfect setting for my husband and me to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. The setting was quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive to restaurants other activites. We booked 5 rooms including the Fern Room with the attached sitting room for our group and everyone loved the accommodations. Randy, the proprietor, and his staff were friendly while being very professional. We took advantage of the Saturday night wine pairing dinner which more than met our expections. Jill, the young chef, is a true treasure. My husband and I hope to stay at Bent Creek Lodge again when we are in the Asheville area. read more

Truly a hidden gem. Stayed at Bent Creek Lodge for our 2nd time. The service and hospitality is 5 star. There are so many little extras scattered throughout the lodge. It is close to the airport, and many fine restaurants, yet it is secluded in a serene wooded area. Definitely coming back again and again. But what makes this lodge exceptional is the owner and host Randy. He welcomes you with a warm smile and makes you feel right at home the minute you arrive. Randy truly wants you to enjoy everything the lodge has to offer. read more

History
Established in 1999.
Former Innkeepers Doug and Jodee Sellers built the lodge in 1999 using the stand of white pines and oaks on the property for timbers and siding. Doug designed the building, built the stairway and several of the furniture pieces. Jodee selected furnishings throughout the building. After 20 years of running the inn they retired. Randy purchased the Lodge in November 2019 and continues welcoming guest to Asheville with southern hospitality.
Meet the Business Owner: Randy C.
Randy worked in sales management and customer service for 30 years in different parts of the country. Enjoying good food, travel and sightseeing prepared him to become innkeeper in November 2019 in a unique way to anticipate guest needs and expectations. Asheville is a great place to call home and welcome Bent Creek Lodge guests visiting the area!

We traveled the entirety of the Blue Ridge Parkway, starting in Virginia and ending in North Carolina. We stayed at a variety of accommodations along the way and wanted something special for the 3 days we'd be spending our anniversary at the end of our Parkway adventure. Bent Creek Lodge was the perfect choice! We're not usually drawn to bed and breakfasts, but after months of planning and looking at other accommodations in the area, this seemed like the nicest option so I made the exception and decided to give a B&B a try again. We were greeted at check in by Randy, the owner, who not only congratulated us on our anniversary, but also allowed us to pick out a complimentary bottle of wine from the beer and wine fridge next to reception. The fridge was stocked with a variety of beer and wine and guests just fill out a slip of paper for whatever they'd like to enjoy and the total is tallied at the end of your stay. Water and soft drinks are complementary and they even have another small fridge outside the kitchen that guests can use for any items they'd like to keep cold during their stay. We were shown to our room, we chose the Wildflower Room, and given the rundown of keys, breakfast and the rest of the house. Once we got settled in we poured ourselves some wine and enjoyed the balcony just off our room. We loved being on the end of the lodge to minimize guests walking past our room. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful and the large whirlpool tub was great for a soak later that night. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal! It is served to you individually at your table. One of the reasons we tend to avoid B&Bs is the communal buffet breakfast we've typically been subjected to, so this was a very welcome feature. After choosing our table (we sat outside on the deck, overlooking the beautiful gardens and entertaining squirrels) we were asked what type of juice we wanted (if any), if we'd like to start with yogurt and granola (a small, very reasonable portion) and if we have any dietary restrictions. I'm vegetarian and appreciated that they offered plant-based sausage to me, rather than just omitting it entirely from my plate. We enjoyed scrambled eggs, roasted sweet potatoes, baked, stuffed croissant french toast, waffles and fresh fruit. The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, but didn't hover. They even offered us two croissant to take with us when I inquired where I could buy a couple rolls to make sandwiches for our anniversary picnic later. This was incredibly helpful and got us out the door and on our adventures for the day quickly. We loved everything about our stay at Bent Creek Lodge and only wish we could have stayed longer. When we're in the area again we'd love to enjoy the gardens and decks more, but just had too much adventuring planned for this trip. read more

I would highly suggest booking a room at this beautiful bed and breakfast. I made the decision to go on a solo trip to Asheville, North Carolina - and since I was going to be alone the entire time, I wanted to make sure I was staying somewhere nice and comfortable. I found Bent Creek Lodge on Google and did not need to continue searching. I immediately booked a room. The staff there is very kind and inviting. Breakfast each morning is completely homemade and delicious, with a different menu every day. Throughout the day, there are drinks available (a tea assortment, pop (soda, for those of you who aren't from where I am from), water and coffee. There were also freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies available at times. I stayed in the Cherokee Room, which was at the very end of the hallway, downstairs -- it was very private and quiet. The room was lovely and well-kept and the bathroom was VERY clean. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable (which is always important). There is a door to the back porch located directly inside of the bedroom - which I would have used had it not been 28 degrees and windy while I visited. It took me about 25 minutes to drive to Biltmore Estate from the B&B on a Tuesday morning, and MAYBE 10 minutes to drive downtown Asheville to explore the quaint shops and local restaurants on a Monday afternoon. As a side note, there are two common areas with televisions, one upstairs with a pool table and plenty of books, as well as one downstairs. If I ever find myself back in Asheville, I will definitely be staying here again. read more

What an incredible stay we had. The bedroom/bathroom had everything we needed. The family room had rocking chairs, games, a pool table, snacks, fridge, microwave, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, filtered water, plates, & utensils. It was so well thought out! We sat outside on the back deck every morning watching the hummingbirds, eating breakfast (which was delicious, healthy, & thoughtful considering I'm a vegetarian) and every evening sitting outside our room overlooking the beautiful garden listening to the birds chirp. We also had interesting conversations with other guests. What set this B & B apart from others were the owner & staff. Randy, the owner, was a wealth of information, professional, on top of anything we needed, and very nice. The staff, Linda, Abby, & Emily, were all very sweet, funny, and kept things running like a well oiled machine. They felt like family- but the kind you love seeing! My mom hadn't had a vacation in over 25 years bc of caring for her husband who was a quadriplegic. When he passed it was time to give mom a breath of fresh air, a good time, and a relaxing place to stay- that was Bent Creek Lodge. Thanks for being such a wonderful "home" base while we were on vacation. Loved the lodge & loved the people! read more

Beautiful, rustic B&B. The new owner took over a day before we arrived, but he kept on all of the staff and everything ran smoothly. The breakfasts were delicious every morning (and so much food!) We also enjoyed the afternoon snacks (fresh cookies, brownies, bars, etc.) and the evening beverage options (wine, tea, hot chocolate, soda) to enjoy by the fire. Other small touches like quality toilet paper and tissues show that they care about your every comfort. We stayed for 3 nights in the Bird Room and the bed was very comfortable. It is right at the top of the stairs, so sound does carry from the main sitting area, but the other guests were fairly good at keeping their voices down in the evening. There is a 9:30 pm cut-off time for use of the pool table, which helps. (If you are a very light sleeper and go to bed early, consider one of the downstairs rooms or on the ends of the hall upstairs.) The lodge is down the road to a gun club, so it is somewhat disconcerting to hear gun shots if you are trying to take a nap in the afternoon, but not too bad. Overall, we loved our stay there and the convenience to everywhere we wanted to go, despite being in the middle of the woods. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Bent Creek Lodge B&B for 4 nights (4/10/23-4/13/23). I highly recommend staying at the Bent Creek Lodge (BCL) and plan to stay there again next year. The BCL is in a great location - about 3 minutes to access the Blue Ridge Parkway and a short and easy drive (15-20 minutes) to downtown Asheville. The BCL is beautiful inside and out, very clean, and well maintained. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, it felt great just to hang out at the lodge! Excellent coffee was available starting at 7:00 AM each morning, followed by a lovely breakfast served between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. The breakfast was excellent and the folks that served breakfast did an amazing job and were very friendly. I think the owner (Randy) was born to run a B&B. Randy is really into his job and works very hard to make sure everyone is happy. If you are not familiar with the Asheville area, Randy is a wealth of information and can suggest things to do and places to visit. My wife and I were very happy with our stay at the Bent Creek Lodge. read more

I can't say enough about Bent Creek Lodge. We spent our 40th anniversary in the Fern room and we also rented the meeting room. The additional space was perfect for gathering with our friends who traveled from Florida to celebrate with us. Randy and his very friendly staff were amazing. Delicious breakfasts were served in the common area each morning of our stay with several options. Complimentary sodas, water, coffee and tea were available all day along with fresh cookies. Very very clean accomodations and beautiful grounds. Randy thank you so much for making great memories for us. When we visit Asheville again we will definitely be staying at Bent Creek. Oh I almost forgot to mention the mattress, absolutely amazing. In fact I would love to know the brand and style for a near future purchase. Again Thank you Randy read more

We rented the entire Lodge for an Air Force Reunion and our 20 guests could not have been more positive. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and the staff took such good care of us. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the showers had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The lodge is well appointed with many areas where everyone could reconnect yet enough space for everyone to be comfortably together at the same time. The gardens surrounding the lodge were well tended and you feel Like you are in the middle of the North Carolina mountains, yet only 10 minutes from civilization. The outdoor deck is spacious with room for all. It is only 30 minutes to the Biltmore, the Flat Rock Playhouse and restaurants. We decided we all wanted to come back next year. read more

Bent Creek Lodge was the highlight of our trip to Arden/Asheville area. It was a wonderful visit in June of 2023. We stayed in the Bird Room that was artfully decorated with bird accessories. Randy and Emily provided us with excellent services and a delightful breakfast both mornings we were there. The gardens out behind the lodge were beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels that inhabited the area. We will pass our recommendations on to our friends who may travel in your area. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay! read more
