My kids enjoyed the unique books, along with the comfy seating in the back of the store. In addition to a great book selection, they have a variety of gifts and unique puzzles. We ended up buying a few books along with a fun, Japanese, dog-surfing puzzle that both our kids agreed was a really fun one. The prices were very reasonable and the store was just so well curated. Idk The place is not as clean as it could be, such as the bathroom, and some of the chairs need to be wiped off or completely replaced as they are stained and have an odor. I would not get any beverages from here unless it's sealed. The hours fluctuate often. I have made one too many trips during the weekday, weekend, daytime or afternoon to find the door locked. And I'm not aware that there's communication given ahead of time about their fluctuating hours for the given day. If you need to get your fix from a book, just buy it because there's no guarantee you can read it the next time you plan to.

He laughed at me, said good luck, and then followed me around the store. He kept making comments just loud enough for me to hear, such as "magic is as real as religion", "Hagerstown is just full of crazy people these days". I finally turned around and asked him what his problem was, to which he replied "oh I don't have a problem but clearly you do." I immediately left and I will never come back. In fact, I'm going to tell people not to come to this store because the managers are very rude. Eta: I never specified a date, and if your management team was focused on helping customers find such a small section of books, instead of entertaining themselves, I would have given a better rating.

If you need some smoke alarms, most of the time they will have some. And have a bunch different hardware, even the whole carpet shelf. And I vintage Polaroid for 40 bucks. and the person the cash was really nice too. I really like how they are using an old building for the original purpose. Advertised as an indoor flea market it was so much more! It was like a craft fair, hardware store, appliance and carpet store, grocery store, pallet buyout, Co op antique store all rolled into one. Prices were reasonable but retail. Not flea market prices that leave room for us resellers, but there were some interesting things. My friend was able to find a vintage clarinet and I was able to get glue and a candy bar, so it was one stop shopping. The store is very large with ample parking for trucks and rvs and located right off a major highway. While I wish the prices were a little more reseller friendly, I would stop again to browse their interesting mix of inventory.

Their setup is a bit sprawling. Many different areas to go and many greenhouses to explore. I sometimes just mindlessly walk through these like a toddler that is bored out of his mind following their parent. I will linger, touch things, hum to myself, mumble...you know, whatever. I personally did not buy anything while I was here. I ended up just kind of walking about and agreed to what my family was talking about. I actually had my eyes on other things. Like the displays that were out and about. I definitely did make my way over to the koi pond they had and stood there for a good amount of time. But the big thing that held my attention here were the guard cats. I know, they aren't really guard cats, but they were basically staff since they were the resident mousers. One was the most friendly cat in the world and the other was a stealthy mass of fur. Totally stayed in that particular greenhouse for a longer time than need be. Even though I didn't buy a single thing here, I did notice the outstanding customer service this place gave. My parents did have a question in regard to a certain plant and the guy helping them were all over it.

He's always visiting reptile and animal shows in The area and bringing in new things. I've seen tons of different reptiles and lizards, fish, furry rodents and bunnies and different birds and all kinds of cool stuff. In fact my boyfriend and I have owned a handful of different creatures from here. The prices are pretty expensive for most products in the store besides the actual pets and feeder animals. But they do have everything you would need even unique things. And it's a small business in an old plaza that I kno for a fact the landlord charges a lot for the space and doesn't give back much for it so I don't mind supporting Dave. He's The owner and is a very nice guy and easy to get along with and very knowledgeable friendly and helpful about all animals and subjects dealing with animals. And he also has lots of volunteers working there that know there stuff too usually. I also like going to see the store cat Panda who is very cute but doesn't like held! But overall this is the best local pet shop in the area and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

There is no parking lot, but there is street parking right in front of the business (plus there are municipal lots nearby).
