The location is conveniently located by the airport and airport hotels. Upon walking in we were greeted by a very cool dining card wall, coat check, and some history about the building. As soon as we turned the corner we saw the huge B29 sitting in all of its glory in the middle of the space. It was epic. The open bar was located right in front of the nose of the plane. I want to give a shout out to the bar manager and staff. They worked so hard non stop and did an amazing job. While getting drinks several servers came around with delicious appetizers. Guests could also get in line to go inside the B29 for a tour. After cocktail hour the bride and groom flew into the reception right outside the hangar door! The staff then served us a delicious three course meal starting with Caesar salad, steak and chicken with vegetables and potatoes, and of course wedding cake. After dinner we went upstairs to see the B29 museum which offered views of the entire venue. The nine piece band entertained the guests until 11pm. This was hands down the most fun and unique wedding I have ever been to!

It is an older property and there are signs of age in several exterior places. If you're picky and that matters to you, maybe this isn't your place. But, the rooms, lobby & pool area are great. Staff is great. My 5 stars are based on my enjoyment and experience. Like I said, I want to stay longer. Oh, and location. There is a grocery store right at the entrance, so you can easily enjoy your kitchen as much as you like. Several restaurants are nearby, too. This was a very pleasant upgrade and a surprise over past visits. The hotel's general manager is directly responsible for this improvement. He is to be congratulated on this decision and encouraged to continue it. The lady, Dawn, in charge of preparing/serving breakfast is very pleasant and outgoing.
