She has already tried medication prescribed by a doctor in India, but unfortunately it hasn't helped. I was told we would need to come in for a visit in order to receive a referral. During our appointment, the doctor entered the room and immediately said she would refer us to a specialist, possibly for a biopsy, without examining my daughter. That sudden mention of a biopsy was alarming, and I asked if she could at least take a look and possibly recommend any medication in the meantime. At that point, the doctor responded in a dismissive manner and said, "I don't want to try like your Indian doctor." I found this comment extremely inappropriate and culturally insensitive. It was hurtful and unprofessional, and it made us feel judged and unwelcome. When I asked again about the dermatologist referral, she told me a referral wasn't even necessary and that I could book directly. I'm still confused as to why I was required to come into the office if no examination was going to be done and no referral was needed. This was a very upsetting experience, especially considering the respectful care we've received from Dr. Harvey in the past. There was a clear lack of compassion and professionalism during this visit, and I believe this behavior needs to be addressed.

Currently it's been really difficult to get a same day sick appointment, but I find using Walmart Health as an urgent care for things like strep and flu testing is adequate while keeping more complex needs here with Dr. Harvey.

We were actually just in and a week before that and let me tell you guys if you have any issue with this pediatrician you clearly are not super familiar with or have had a truly bad experience because the people that have cared for my son have each individually been fantastic. Yesterday we saw a young woman who is a nurse practitioner and her kindness, willingness to listen to me, and clear care for my son was evident! She was warm and professional at the same time, which is uncommon.

When we tried to contact the new patient intake coordinator, they transferred us back to the front desk and was told to email our children's vaccination records to schedule an initial intake appointment. We emailed their vaccination records and never received any further communication. After further attempts to communicate and establish an initial appointment, we gave up. This was an ideal pediatric because of proximity to our house but nothing is worth the terrible level of service. I tell everyone to avoid NWA Pediatrics.

I made the mistake of going here because it was on my way home and I felt really sick and had a horrendous cough. I just wanted to get seen by a doctor and get some medicine as quick as possible and then get home. This one star is not because of the care I got it's because of the billing $1000 out-of-pocket for this on the day I was seen even though it was about a 20 minute visit with one x-ray and a prescription for a Z-Pak.. then I got three more bills after the fact for different things that I thought were scams, but actually were related to secondary billing and this is after they billed my insurance. A total of $1500 for 20 minutes. They did a great job schooling me up on never going to the emergency room for anything but life or death. If you have money that you like, burning in a fire on weekends, then go ahead go to this place. You'll love it.

But when I use my online portal someone else is added as my PCP, person I saw is just listed as an option to see them in general, I get communication from another unrelated nurse about my care whom is not anyone I have spoken to. It makes me feel like they actually care very little about their patients.

Would have taken me months just to get refills on my maintenance meds. Gage got me in same day. Despite the short notice, he took time making sure he got all my history right, understood my current concerns, and gave me detailed instructions on how to follow up if I needed anything. Can't go wrong with Gage and northwest. I've recommended him to my parents and siblings and when the family pediatrician retires I'm glad to know I have a caring provider to turn to for my (many) children. Last note -- they do telehealth! If I don't have any new physical symptoms, I only have to show up a few times a year!
