She has already tried medication prescribed by a doctor in India, but unfortunately it hasn't helped. I was told we would need to come in for a visit in order to receive a referral. During our appointment, the doctor entered the room and immediately said she would refer us to a specialist, possibly for a biopsy, without examining my daughter. That sudden mention of a biopsy was alarming, and I asked if she could at least take a look and possibly recommend any medication in the meantime. At that point, the doctor responded in a dismissive manner and said, "I don't want to try like your Indian doctor." I found this comment extremely inappropriate and culturally insensitive. It was hurtful and unprofessional, and it made us feel judged and unwelcome. When I asked again about the dermatologist referral, she told me a referral wasn't even necessary and that I could book directly. I'm still confused as to why I was required to come into the office if no examination was going to be done and no referral was needed. This was a very upsetting experience, especially considering the respectful care we've received from Dr. Harvey in the past. There was a clear lack of compassion and professionalism during this visit, and I believe this behavior needs to be addressed.

We travel from east of Fayetteville to use this office, and it's completely worth the drive. Currently it's been really difficult to get a same day sick appointment, but I find using Walmart Health as an urgent care for things like strep and flu testing is adequate while keeping more complex needs here with Dr. Harvey.

Not sure why overall they function this way but I chose someone as my PCP online, saw them for a…read morevisit. But when I use my online portal someone else is added as my PCP, person I saw is just listed as an option to see them in general, I get communication from another unrelated nurse about my care whom is not anyone I have spoken to. It makes me feel like they actually care very little about their patients.

The medical care provided at this facility tops the quality of care given to me from the VA…read morehospital, by far. It's taken me a while to get used to this southern hospitality from the doctors and nurses here. I have received care from Northwest as well as Washington regional. And none of them come close to the positive experiences I've had here at Mercy. 5 stars all around

PARKING: There is a decent size parking lot, but I feel like it could be better and it could be closer to the entrance to the hospital. The day I went there it was freezing and it was not enjoyable walking to my car to the hospital because it was somewhat far haha. WAIT: I had to wait in the outpatient area - you are checked in by a volunteer. The older gentlemen who was volunteering that day was very friendly. My wait was somewhat long - about 30-40 minutes. Once they called my name I was taken to a little outpatient office desk and was checked in. Then I had to go to the lab and wait a little more - about 10-15 minutes. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Overall, friendly. Besides the wait, it was good. The nurse who took my blood did a great job as well.

Gage Lankford is the bomb. He just started here and got me in when (not kidding) four other…read moreproviders were going to make me wait months just to establish with a PCP. Would have taken me months just to get refills on my maintenance meds. Gage got me in same day. Despite the short notice, he took time making sure he got all my history right, understood my current concerns, and gave me detailed instructions on how to follow up if I needed anything. Can't go wrong with Gage and northwest. I've recommended him to my parents and siblings and when the family pediatrician retires I'm glad to know I have a caring provider to turn to for my (many) children. Last note -- they do telehealth! If I don't have any new physical symptoms, I only have to show up a few times a year!
