Where do I start?! I was in a very difficult immigration conundrum where I had previously hired a different law firm to handle my I-751 removal of conditionality from green card. This old law firm was what you would call the typical "big business" law firm and they were all about getting your money and not taking enough time to understand your case. With that being said, I had an interview scheduled by the USCIS where I needed to appear to further present the required evidence to substantiate the claim of a bona fide marriage. Of course my representation at the time failed to inform me (seeing that I moved from my original address and they were next in-line to be informed or notified of any updates from the USCIS). Being that I missed my interview, my application was denied and I was now in deportation proceedings. I then began to scurry to try and find another law firm that is much better suited to handle my case. The process was daunting, and after various useless money hungry interviews with these vetting firms I was close to giving up.
