During my military career I spent several years as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Knox. The greatest skill I took away from that experience was my training in spotting imperfections in detail. If there is a spot, or thread out of place, I will see it, and it haunts me until I have it corrected. With my new home, I have slept deeper than I have in years. I have been in my Belman home long enough to have found a flaw; to date, I haven't found any. It feels great to finally find a team of people who appreciate the details as much as I do.

    I was so excited when I discovered the new home we were buying was built by Belman in 2001. Well…read morenow that I have lived in this house for 2 years, my opinion has changed. All the floors creak horribly, bedroom and bathroom doors do not close properly. We had some remodeling done last winter by another company and was able to have their carpenter fix some of these issues, of course at a cost $100 an hour. Then we hired some professional painters and they needed to do some repairs before painting. They discovered whomever drywalled the ceiling used the wrong kind of tape, which had started to let go and come down. There are little round pop outs all around the ceiling edges. Found out these are nail heads that are starting to come down due to gravity. I guess they should have used screws not nails. I had tried to contact Belman regarding the creaking floors and possible remodeling, but they were not interested.
