Kevin arrived within the window I was given (8am-12pm), calling ahead as promised. He set to work right away, fixed the spring, lubricated everything up, and even put the light cover back on that we hadn't gotten around to after swapping the lightbulb. He was done in no more than 30-45 minutes. He had a card reader so paying the bill was easy (and was exactly what was quoted over the phone) and our garage door is working even better than before. I'm considering ordering new doors for both garages also along with another opener for second garage door. Michael's wife came along to assist which I thought was pretty awesome. Original garage doors were put in by a retired fella named Paul who trained Michael many years earlier. Old school, fair, honest and responsive is how I'd describe Michael. Was a great experience overall. I went with model I felt comfortable with although Michael had another alternative that was about $100.00 more that was a bit quieter with a belt he said. Only to find that your garage door does not open that evening. You check out from inside and find one of the lift cables snapped off, caused by the torsion spring snapping, and breaking off. The next morning, a co-worker referred me to Kurtis. I am glad he did, because as soon as I gave him a call he was ready to stop by that same morning and do the repair. It was obvious to me that the two guys they sent were not anywhere near expert on installing tv's. All 3 tv's are crooked on the wall but we were told they are level. The sound bars are also crooked. Also I had request they bring several closet shelves 14"x36". The ones they brought were the wrong size and on top of that they were cut on my patio and the garbage was just left there.
