Don't move in to their properties. The day after I moved in, there was a horrible sewage smell coming from the laundry room that stunk up the entire apartment and made it unlivable. I had to stay somewhere else and signed a 30 day notice to vacate. They have been unable to fix the issue or address the smell yet they are demanding I pay the full 30 days of rent for an apartment I can't live in and they can't fix. Less then One star...DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.....So we moved into our apartment last October from a okay rental company...but in December of 2020 we got a letter on our door saying this company was the new owners of our building...Since then its been such a nightmare...They have only fixed our parking lot outside and the sidewalk...these people are MONEY HUNGRY BLOOD SUCKERS... they dont give a shit if you need something done...they will say it will be done...it wont be...or mailbox did not even lock for 4 months before we had to ask 3 times then they finally put a lock on it....mail was getting taken directly out of our mail box...Then on July 6th we got a letter saying that we had to decide if we wanted to renew our lease by July 31st AND THAT OUR RENT WAS RAISED $216...so for a 1 bedroom 630sq ft apartment in shitty norristown pa they are charging $1216 a month, if we wanted a shorter lease we would have to pay an extra $100 a month...this is redicouls, our kitchen floor is so shitty, our bathroom was nasty since we moved in, our vanity wasnt even bolted on the wall corectly and it fell off, we pretty much have used our own money to fix and repair evertthing in the place....In the winter time...we had NO HOT WATER for about 2 weeks.....they did nothing, multiple times they would send us messages not 24 hours notice (which is not even legal) These people are horrible....they keep buying up all these places in norristown and hiking up the rent kicking everyone out? to do what? If you're looking for an apartment where parking is next to impossible, then Village Square in Bensalem is for you. When you come home from work you can expect to drive around the complex to find a spot, if you're lucky. You can expect to have your car towed if you should have to park in a location where part of your car penetrates into a yellow curb zone because no other spots are available. You can expect to pay $250 to get your car back (cash of course). I have lived there for about 18 months, and parking is getting even worse. I was told by one of the managers that I could park in a lot next to the clubhouse. That lot is about one eighth mile from my apartment, and this is after my rent was raised. Not too handy in the rain, snow or ice with shopping packages. The units are very old, and look it. If I was able to see my apartment prior to signing a lease, I would have never moved here. When my lease is up I will be moving out as quickly as possible and try to forget this truly horrible experience.I have lived in many locations, and Village Square in Bensalem is by far the worst I have seen.
