Beautiful home, well built, great price, timeless open floor plan and Awesome Customer Service! We had the pleasure of meeting Jayson Quon and he was wonderful! He guided us through the whole building process with his knowledge of real estate and Berks philosophy. He answered emails and phone calls within an hour and if he didn't have an answer, he found one. Jayson was always very professional, but his genuine caring personality, made him seem more like a friend. After a few months of planning to build our dream home, our home sold much faster than anticipated and we didn't have the 6 months that we needed to build our home. I was very upset and called Jayson and in a very calm voice he said, Don't worry will figure something out. I new when I hung up, that he would do exactly that. Within 2 days he found us the exact home that we were originally going to build, including all of the extras that we wanted. It was a brand new spec home and was actually closer to the grandchildren, then where we were originally going to build! He found us our "forever" home and we are so thankful! During the finalizing of our home, we met Scott Hardy. Scott was also very knowledgeable about our home and Berks as a builder. Scott's personality is unsurpassed, he also made us feel like friends and not just clients. He made, what could have been a stressful move, fun and easy. At our one year anniversary, we had a few small things that needed addressed. Justin was at our home within the week and made everything perfect. Berks homes will build You a piece of Expensive Junk.!!! I KNOW, I sunk my hard earned income into one of their own. They will lie to you with a smile. You will spend your life fixing a basement foundation that will spall and rust within five years, you will scratch your head and quietly ask yourself "why is my foundation rapidly delaminating, crumbling, disintegrating, the steel rusting, and cracking inside and out?" Why is my dining room wall ripping at the corner seams while the wall boards pull away. Why did they install different sized I-beams in the basement and bolt them to 2x6 wood and it's against code, and now the mis-sized I-beam is tilting and causing the house to shift and rip, and why did they put antiquated ridge vents used in the 1970s On the ridge of everyone's roof when they could have put matching roof tile ridge vents developed for the 21st century? Why didn't the Amish NOT screw down the attic joists, as they cracked and twisted like King Kong was having a lousy day? YOU will spend YOUR precious life and $$$$$$ calling structural and civil engineers who are NOT invested in YOUR Expensive Junk purchase, and just MAYBE they will Not be among the educated/uneducated, and will be very knowledgeable and accurately diagnose the problems of the expensive junk you bought from berks. I am of the belief that the Victims of the berks purchase Fear that if they warn other buyers, they wouldn't be able to UNLOAD the junk fast enough. NO-ONE would buy it!!! Our experience with Berks was fabulous!! We have now built 3 homes in total, the Berks home being our most recent. This was a downsize for us so there was some stress going to a smaller home. From the beginning Berks was great to work with. Jayson was awesome and very knowledgeable, honest and open in answering all of our questions with zero pressure. We asked for some customization's within the homes footprint which Berks accommodated nicely. The Berks selection studio is great and gives you a good preview of choices you have and what they will look like in the home. They also have a great number of selections to choose from. Craig and Megan were very helpful and patient throughout the process. Once construction started we worked with Scott, our superintendent, who was also awesome! Scott was always readily available to answer our questions and provide updates and welcomed all questions or concerns so that he could address them and "get it right" for us. Outside of a few weather delays our home build stayed on track, and we received regular detailed updates. The day of closing, during our walk through, we had a very small list of items for Berks to address (and none were major), some of which were addressed within hours. We have lived in the home now for approx. 3 months and have no complaints. Any items that we have a question on have been quickly addressed by Berks. Jayson and Scott continue to check in to make sure we are satisfied. We would definitely recommend a Berks home! They are focused on getting it right for their customer. read more

The Team at Berks Homes, from walking into the model of a company I knew nothing about, in a state I also knew nothing about has been 150% Sandy greeted us warmly, at Logan Meadows in the model home, she answered our many questions about who Berks is and what they stand for! She then told us if we had any pricing questions we could reach out to Jayson Quon at another community, so we went for a short drive and decided to ambush him and see how well he knew his product. Well, he schooled us in every way, the only reason we didn't sign on the spot, was the tricky situation with relocating. Jayson goes above and beyond for us, and all his other customers too! even staying late and sharing his mobile phone number to be available at almost any hour to answer a question! This man doesn't just leave well enough alone, he strives for 100% in everything he does and is actually building a new Berks house, to call Home! Wow is all I can say!! So " Our Story " started in March 2020 at the very beginning of the pandemic. My wife and I were in the very beginning stages of buying a house. We looked at pre-owned and new construction houses. We stumbled on a new community called Morgan's Crossing in South Middleton Pa in the Carlisle area. Let me say we were not really 100% sure if we wanted to even buy a house we were in the "just looking" phase, but we were blown away with the sale rep Jayson Quon. Hi! We posted a few months ago during the building process and wanted to update since we've been living in our beautiful home for a month. We love it!! The floor plan is outstanding. Such a great use of space and so functional! We are a family of 6, so the option for a 5th bedroom is unheard of, but not with Berks. Our representative, Jayson Quon is an amazing person. We can't imagine this process without him. He made it so much fun!! We have had a few problems, but even at 11pm Berks trades did everything to fix the problem. From the very start of our build process, Berks Homes was nothing but professional and willing to work with our special requests. They were and still are responsive to our every e-mail and phone call. Our build had some challenges due to materials that we requested to utilize, but Bryan Entrekin and Sam Jarsocrak who were on top of every aspect and were a pleasure to work with. The warranty department has handled every issue in a timely fashion and they continue to follow through. The entire build appeared seamless as there were few gaps in any construction and several teams were working at a time to ensure that the house be completed in 3.5 months as promised (the fastest turn around time of any other builder that we interviewed). We are so pleased that we decided to use Berks Homes. We would recommend them to anyone who is building a home and if we ever build again, we would absolutely use Berks Homes! I give this builder a 5 star! Fantastic workers that when problems occur, they get them fixed. As always with any business, especially the home building business, there will always be issues. If there was a perfect world then wouldn't we all be living on easy street. Previous reviews state otherwise, guess they live in that perfect world where there is no such thing as mistakes. I have heard many customers rave on the quality of work this builder does, the respect they give the customer, and even through a ton of crap a customer can give at the table of picking and choosing their own items, this builder provides it and deals with it with the utmost respect to the buyer. Berks installed our shower so poorly that it needs to be ripped out and redone. They came out to fix it twice and in the end decided they needed to redo it completely - but it's been a month since they left us with a hole in the drywall and said they'd be back to redo the whole thing.
