I'm also excited to share that we'll be sending our next son, who is currently just 2 weeks old, when he turns 1. We're already looking forward to the wonderful experience he'll have, just like his older siblings. What truly stands out is how flexible and accommodating the staff has been to our family's needs. They have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure we feel supported, and they've always been responsive and communicative, answering any questions or concerns I have promptly and with care. I always feel heard and valued as a parent, which means so much to me. The staff's commitment to creating a safe, enriching environment for my children is evident in every interaction. It's clear they genuinely care about the children's growth and development. I feel confident every day that my kids are in great hands. My daughter is now fully prepared and ready for preschool next year, and I'm so grateful for the foundation the school has given her. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and encouraged to grow in a positive, caring atmosphere. When my oldest son was…read morediagnosed with adhd and I was informed by his doctor that he would benefit from an integrated preschool setting I called building blocks. I was told by several people in the community that it was a great place for children with developmental disabilities. I definitely made the right choice! He was lucky enough to have Miss Christi for the integrated pre k program. She is fantastic! Thanks to her he was able to move to a general education program for elementary school. When it was time to look for preschool for my other children I looked no further. My son was placed with Miss Christine for the 3s program. He really enjoyed going to her class. She always had wonderful activities and projects planned. She also helped me realize that he also needed some additional services. Thanks to her he is currently in Miss Amy's 4 year old integrated class and he is doing amazing! He is so excited to go to school each day and so eager to learn! He even knows his numbers and letters! My daughter also went to building blocks. She was in the toddler program with Miss Dawn. She is the type of child who doesn't separate easily but Miss Dawn made it happen!! By day three She was running into the classroom without looking back at me! I have never seen my daughter happier! Miss Dawn is the greatest toddler teacher in the world! My children have also received related services through building blocks. Miss Shannon was my older son's occupational therapist and I was overjoyed when I found out that she would be working with my younger son! He also receives physical therapy with Miss Amy and speech therapy with Miss Alexa. I cannot say enough about each of these women. I feel so lucky to have them in my corner. My children have grown so much and come so far due to their hard work and dedication. I would also like to mention the nursing staff. My daughter has epilepsy so you can imagine how nervous I was to send her to a program. Thanks to the amazing nursing staff I had no fear! They are so knowledgeable and they made me feel so comfortable! I knew that she was well taken care of at every moment!! Overall building blocks has exceeded all of my expectations. Every staff member including teachers, assistants, therapists and administrators have been nothing but kind and nurturing throughout this preschool experience. I am forever grateful to this wonderful school!!

Highly recommend Berkys day care for any of your child's needs. Extremely friendly, reliable and trustworthy are just a few things this daycare has to offer. Your child will be learning and growing from drop off to pick up even including spanish language learning! Supplies the healthiest foods and beverages with a monthly email to keep relevant in your child's day. Curriculum and meal plans also sent monthly not to mention hands on learning activities your child would be sure to love. It's a great place to help prep your little one for full time school. My daughter started here at 3 and by the end of her stay she knew her alphabet, letters, shapes, colors and how to write most letters and numbers. Berkeys really helped her adjust to full time school and I'm so very grateful for all this daycare has done. Not to mention super reasonable and affordable prices compared to the other chain daycares. Did I mention they also have cameras so you can keep your mind at ease and peek in on your little one during there daycare hours!!! My husband and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity for our son Kaden to attend Berkys Day Care. I felt really good every morning dropping my son off to an environment that is so loving and nurturing. This day care provided my son with all the prerequisites that are required to start kindergarten. For example, coloring, tracing, drawing, writing, shapes, colors, foreign languages, social skills, numbers, and letters. Ms. Berkys and her staff have managed to create an effective learning environment, where the children are always actively engaged. I want to commend Berkys Day Care for setting a strong foundation for excellence and learning achievement. I would highly recommend this day care without hesitation. Trusted my daughter with Mrs Berkys and her staff for 2 years. Her program enriches children both academically and emotionally. She teaches the children about a variety of topics age appropriately and even teaches Spanish! When my daughter started kindergarten I realized alot of the material had already been introduced through her attendance at Mrs Berkys. Mrs Berkys is always ensuring the children have new experiences. She goes out of her way to ensure there are new supplies, toys and activities to keep children engaged. Mrs Berkys and her staff were always kind and fair, good social skills such as being caring, respectful, kind and thoughtful were always stressed throughout my daughters care. Most of all Mrs Berkys and all of her staff are kind hearted, caring people who truly care about your child. I knew that my daughter was always in good hands! read more

I can't say enough about how great this place is. My child started attending when he was 11 months and has been there full time for over one year. It is a clean, safe and organized daycare. The staff stick to a set schedule of activities, playtime, meals and nap time that provides structure and keeps the children interested and stimulated. What I just described would make a great daycare but this place is so much more. The owner, Berkys and her staff Claudia, Stephanie and Nelson care about the children. You can tell by the quality of the activities and craft projects that they put extra time and resources into their work. Also the fact that there are live cameras and the food provided is fresh and organic is a great bonus. The hours are great opening at 6:30 am on weekdays and providing Saturday hours too. My daughter spend 3 years at Berkys day care. Before putting her in there I looked at many others. My heart did not settle. Once I met berkys I knew my daughter would be safe and I felt home when I walked in. My daughter warmed up to them right away. Never was a time where I had to worry about her. Of course I always watched the camera's anyways for the first year.... lol Berkys Daycare left an impact on my daughter forever. She's learned so much from them in many department. Still to this day my daughter talks about them and always ask to go visit them. Especially MR Nelson ..lol. They gave my daughter a second home and a second family for life. I have been so lucky since I found Berkys Daycare They've been taken care of my daughter since she is three years old My daughter Loves to go there every single day ,now she's in kindergarten and she still goes to the afterschool program . We as a parents worry about who is going to take to take care or where they are going to be if they're going to be in a safe place, I always say your first answer is from my child like I said my daughter loves to go Berkys Day Care All the time . I was impressed from the minute I stepped foot in Mrs.Berkys Childcare establishment. The fact that I was able to get a chance to see my daughter through out the day is amazing. While at work I just click on a link (on my cell phone or computer) they provided me with and there she is! They provide organic food as well as teach English, Spanish, YOGA, History, Spelling, Math etc. too long to list all activities. They have a excellent staff & Overall is a great place. My daughter has been attending Berky's Day care in Deer Park since she was 2 years old and I'm happy with her growth and development. The daily curriculum is age appropriate. My daughter learns new things everyday. The facility is clean and all the employees there are professional and are trusted by me. Love this daycare! At first I was hesitant to go to an in home daycare. But this does not at all feel like its in a home. It feels just like a classroom! And clean is an understatement!! This place is immaculate!! The cameras are perfect! If made me feel so much better leaving my two year old there knowing I could check on him when ever I wanted. He is so happy with his new environment and they made it so easy for him to adapt. My son now ask every weekend to please go see Ms Stella and her amazing team! In just a few short months, we already see how much our son has progressed! From all the music classes and teaching, It is truly inspiring what they do for all the kids. My son now questions the weather everyday and all the days of the week. We are so lucky to have found them! Ms. Stella herself, her amazing team of teachers and assistants all go above and beyond to create the most comfortable, fun and amazing environment for the all kids. They truly adapt to the needs of every child. The constant communication and updates throughout the day is so reassuring! My son was a great eater before arriving at Stella's but to say his palate has grown phenomenally is an understatement. He comes home talking about all the delicious meals he has. All meals are organic and made fresh and they have also adapted to my sons dietary needs! We wanted her to be in a loving environment and what better place than Stellar Tots. Weeks within switching our daughter over, we started seeing positive changes that we had not seen before at the old daycare. She was so happy in her new environment and had easily adapted to her new daycare and loving teachers. At the old daycare - we felt our daughter was ignored and not shown any affection, which we could tell with her daily behavior, constant diaper rashes and in the end unexplained bruises and injuries - which was the final straw for us to pull our daughter out. We are so glad we got to meet Stella who came with great recommendations from other fellow moms. In this past year my daughter has progressed so much in every way possible we could have possible thought of and more. And she has never had a single diaper rash during this time! I cannot say enough good things about Stella herself and her amazing team of teachers and assistants that she has around the kids. They all go above and beyond to create the most loving environment for the kids. The communication throughout the day is great and even after hours if I have a question Stella is so prompt in getting back to me. My daughter loves Miss Stella and Miss Irina so much and looks forward to go to Miss. Stella's house every morning and even asks about them over the weekend. Great learning curriculum and having a place that provides 4 delicious, nutritious and organic meals is such a great benefit to have for all parents. Morning drop offs is a breeze, there's never a question if there's enough room for your child that day in their regular room and it is consistent to help keep the child comfortable. Class size and safe attentive care were some positive selling points that stuck out to me as well. The teachers do a great job at uploading some pictures throughout the day as well so we can get a glimpse of what our little one is up to and seeing the bright smile on her face as she is learning, exploring and socializing is worth it ten folds. They treat the teachers so poorly that the turnover rate is more than they can handle, causing the rooms to be severely and illegally understaffed on a consistent basis. This means some children become left unattended for hours. This isn't a temporary problem, it is a repeating pattern showing a clear inability to manage the facility. Some of the teachers are lovely and do a great job of caring for the children. But the upper management is pure degeneracy and interferes with the teacher's abilities to do their job. It is a shame that a few people can cause such a downfall in the care that the facility provides the children. There is no shortage of childcare in the area, please look in a different direction if you are considering childcare.
