She was unprepared for the appointment as she hadn't reviewed the paperwork I dropped off ( she didn't even know it was at her office). She quickly found the paperwork and reviewed it. About a quarter way into our conversation she received a call she had to take . She did not go over any options with me about my incident, but gave me only one option. My entire appointment lasted a half hour ( I paid for an hour). I reluctantly took her advice, only to find out a month later I did have other options, but it was too late. I had already signed a contract for the sale of my mother's home. I would look at alternatives in the future if I ever need advice concerning elder law.

My judgment was so poor that I was assigned a guardian and a conservator. I finally found a psychiatrist that was able to successfully treat my mania with Seroquel.
