The second location the building manager did not reach out to me and had the bill sent to their internal collections department, and trying to reason with them got me no where. I finally settled after they removed some of the charges it took months. And I requested a letter of confirmation that we had settled it, and there were promises that I would receive the letter after I paid that was almost a month ago. And now none of my messages for it are being returned. The bar in our lobby that holds the realtor keys was cut and all the lock boxes were stolen 2 days ago. KDM was informed about this and it was replaced the next day. That was real swell of them to get right on that but changing the locks to our doors has not been done and the people who stole our keys have access to our building and parkade. I left for work this morning at 620am (a female entering the parkade alone) and encountered 2 masked men scoping out our vehicles. Now having something happen to anyone's vehicle is terrible but my safety is now at risk. KDM said they can't change the locks until they get approval from our condo board and well it's been 2 days you think this would take priority but no I think they would rather someone get assaulted, raped, murdered even before they get there ass in gear to get the locks changed. Avoid any building that is managed by KDM like the plague!!!

Despite being locked into a one-year contract, the service I received during my short time with TILT was consistently disappointing, unprofessional, and ultimately more stressful than managing the property myself. From the beginning, communication was poor and inconsistent. After the initial walk-through, the agent told me that only the bedrooms required fresh paint. I completed this immediately, yet shortly after, I was informed that additional painting was needed in the living room--something that should have been identified the first time. The agent also claimed the original photos "didn't turn out," which I later learned didn't matter because my listing hadn't been posted at all. When I finally received an update, I was told the listing had minimal activity and only one showing. Despite having completed every task they recommended, I was then given a second list of repairs and asked to reduce the rental price--this was only one week after they had conducted a market review and set the original rent amount. TILT continued to request additional price reductions 3 times over a one-month period, always citing "lack of interest," yet provided none of the documentation I repeatedly requested updates regarding showings and inquiries--something they claim to provide bi-weekly and are obligated to share under RECA guidelines. After moving cities and leaving my keys for them to collect, I discovered they simply never picked them up. Again, weeks went by with no personalized updates on my property. When I reached out after two weeks, the agent casually mentioned she "had been meaning" to talk to me--raising the question of whether she would have reached out at all if I hadn't initiated contact. The situation escalated when I emailed CEO Jared Hope directly to express my concerns. Instead of addressing any of my issues--lack of communication, failure to follow contract terms, repeated rent-reduction pressure, and missing documentation--he responded with an unprofessional tone and took the opportunity to highlight his own expertise rather than acknowledge any accountability. These emails continued for four days of unproductive back-and-forth. The final breaking point was discovering that people I personally referred to TILT for viewings of my home never received a response from them. On top of that, I discovered TILT reduced my rental price on the ads after I explicitly told them not to. They claimed they would correct it, yet two days later nothing had changed. After paying both a mortgage and rent while dealing with a company whose CEO displays a clear lack of respect and professionalism--and after multiple breaches of contract--I made the decision to terminate my agreement with TILT after only 1.5 months of service. This experience was discouraging, costly, frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. Based on my time with TILT Property Group, I would strongly not recommend their services to any property owner looking for competent or professional management.

I've been harassed, and have had my tenant rights breached MULTIPLE times. The landlord and building manager entered my unit the day after the scheduled inspection and intimidated my babysitter that was home with my sick child. She brings her emotional support dog with her to babysit, which was approved by the previous landlord and they are trying to tell me I breached my lease because the new landlord hasn't approved it, this is after they tried to withdraw unauthorized money from my account and attempted to withdraw rent after I had already paid by cheque. This put me me in arrears for my car insurance and double nsf's, which I ultimately had to end up paying out because of this. The breach letters come after their little attempts. They gave me a breach noice saying I didn't have my PAD on file, the day after they tried to take a random amount from my account, and I got a breach noice for my sitter the day after they illegally entered my unit:. This is full blown harassment and very unprofessional. They say I'm in arrears but won't say what for lol??? All my rent payments are up to date ‍ We are also survivors of domestic abuse and this building is one location our abuser can't access and now has been made unsafe by the landlord and manager. I was also given a bill for common area carpet cleaning after helping an elderly gentlemen move out of the building because he had bags in the hallway. The landlord graciously told me that you guys can't charge us for things like that, so that's one decent things she's done. I also disclosed my sensative situation with the landlord, and ever since, I've been harassed with breaches, and they've breached my human rights as I believe this is discrimination to my situation. I'm assuming it's there way of getting me to move out, but that's not going to happen since this is our safe house and I'm not doing anything wrong. Imagine being a mom and a landlord and doing this to another mom with young children who are trying to live a safe and happy life. It's evil actually. I reported the breaches to the building manager and submitted my formal notice that I am escalating this matter for damages, I also asked for upper management and it's been declined by the building manager , so I apologize I messaged on every social media platform, but I think the owners would like to know of the illegal activities going on at Westview Manor Building C and the fact that these 2 individuals are leaving serious marks on Braden's reputation, there is several Facebook posts about this building alone. I think it's only fair they are warned with the truth.
