I got there before 4:30 PM to turn it in, it was around 4:25 pm when I was in the office and I was turned away because the two young women said that they were still working on someone's report. This is so wrong that I couldn't turn in my paperwork for the accident because they were still working on somebody's report, no one told me that I wouldn't be able to turn it in even though I got there before 4:30 PM just because they were still working on other's report, talk about lazy. When I worked at the psych hospital, I stayed there past my regular time just to work on what needed to get done that day. The other person's report didn't require them to be there so why couldn't I just drop off my paperwork? It makes no sense! Whoever is running the police substation needs to see my review and realize what a messed up system this is. I only have five days to report it and I was going on a trip over the weekend for a week and I would not be able to turn it in Within five days. The worst part is that the two young ladies, one of them is F. Hodgson, told me to come back Saturday morning, she lied! I've been back Saturday the office was closed. She needs to be reprimanded. I will definitely be calling about this. It's ridiculous that the people in a car accident, doesn't matter that they're shaken up, have to report the incident. Back in Florida where I am from. no matter the accident the police is comes to the scene get the information from all the parties and files the report. do people not get tickets for being reckless drivers? Maybe that is why there are so many reckless drivers .

There were police cars, firetrucks, ambulances, helicopters, news cameras, and a butt load of mayhem. Luckily no one was seriously injured. My car was absolutely smashed. I was sitting still and was smashed by the side--but on to the review of the attending police. They were polite and most concerned about the people who might be injured first. They checked me and my daughter repeatedly, as did the EMT. They did the basic stuff--took a statement, got the information from all the drivers, etc. Then they did the whole above and beyond stuff. The car rental place my insurance prefers were out of cars. The officer got on the phone with them and they found me a car. Another officer drove us to the rental place. And I was still so shaken up that they took care of all the details for me. I've never been in a big wreck like that. Thanks to the police I got all the information I needed for my insurance, for the wrecker service, for the car rental place, and for my shaken up munchkin. I'm from Dallas and we have a good Police Department. However, I've been in a small wreck here and the police were sort of--good luck with that. Albuquerque Police were awesome!

I live in LA and am in Albuquerque several times a year on business. The officers I see either at gas stations or a lunch spot (thankfully not in my rear view mirror) always look very professional. Today I was driving on 5th Street NW next to an SUV with a cruiser following on my left lane. I had my window down and we stopped at a red light I looked over and the officer nodded. Nice gesture and he didn't have to do that. Always appreciate what these guys/ gals do - they never get enough credit. Most of the time it's fake news selling what they did wrong. We want you there. Made my turn into my neighborhood and the lights were still present so I pulled over to let the officer pass... he didn't pass. License and registration game was on! Officer Oscar asked me if I knew I was being stopped and let me know he thought I did not come to a complete stop off of Cordova and whatever intersection. Good for you Oscar (I cannot remember his surname for the life of me). Many a time I am en route through this intersection between Body/clafoutis/dulce- and many a time I've watched people running the four way intersection wether in broad daylight or the thick of night. I'll leave y'all with this: these guys have a difficult job, an awkward job, and often times it feels like you're not safe when the popo pull you over. Oscar told me he was brand new to the force, and I'll tell you I'm glad he's around. Professionalism and courtesy is what we need from our boys and gals in blue and he exhibited these qualities in full. I've no idea if I came to a complete stope or not. I generally know I am a very safe driver and we all make mistakes, but this guy, in my opinion, fulfilled his due diligence and is simply making sure our neighborhood is a little safer. Welcome to Santa Fe sir and thanks for doing your job with professionalism and care and I'm sorry I put you in the position you were in. We need more of these guys around the country but I'm happy to know he's around in the middle of the night protecting me, my wife, the neighbors, and the citizens of Santa Fe. Keep an eye on your six and an eye on the community and continue doing you as you. I have the pleasure of meeting y'all in the ER and have nothing but the highest regard for your professionalism and we continue to provide for our community through thick and thin. Filed a sexual assault report against Bradford Gregory Lawrence of El Gancho. I met the guy at a…read morebar, ended up drinking more than I could handle and he took advantage of me. The situation was super confusing because Bradford Gregory Lawrence actually maintained contact with me afterwards, presumably in order to confuse the situation and what that incident was all about. Once I realized what had happened, I verbally reprimanded the man and he actually even threatened me. I then filed a police report. As far as I know, one cannot consent while mentally incapacitated. Ultimately though, the police believed his word over mine and labeled the report 'unfounded.' Bradford Gregory Lawrence had actually made up a story saying that I was fighting another woman at the bar for him! The cops didn't even check the cameras of the restaurant/bar where we interacted to corroborate what Bradford Gregory Lawrence told them. The cops were actually more interested in asking me what my occupation was and how my credit is! At the end, they simply took his word over mine. The police officers at the center told me no crime had occurred and that if I was bothered by what had happened I should go seek free therapy at a local sexual assault center, Solace Sexual Assault Center.

Whenever I visit a state's capital city, I always like to go and see their Capitol building so this was a treat to see!
