As soon as I walked in I knew it was the place for me. It is smaller than many of the other stores but the quality of the products is amazing. Nicole greeted me and asked what I was looking for. She offered to help or let me browse. I knew I was looking for a complete living room set. Nicole spent over two hours working with me and pulling together a special order that was perfect for our home. We played with lots of different fabric samples until we got just the right combination. I am thrilled. Sadly custom orders are taking up to six months right now. Hopefully that will get better soon. Definitely come on if you are looking for high end furniture. The prices were fair and Nicole has a great eye for pulling things together. Overall the store has a more traditional feel but you can make the pieces whatever you want them to be with the wide fabric selection they have. I am thrilled I found them and will definitely buy more from them in the future. Come in. You will be glad you did.

I went to Homemakers 3 different times to look at this couch and talk with the sales people. Note: I live 2 1/2 hours away. Not one sales person told me that the back pillows are NOT under warranty. Not one sales person told me that due to the loose poly fill construction of the back pillows they WILL BREAKI DOWN. My old couch that I had for 12 years still looks brand new. The only reason why I replaced my old couch is because we wanted a longer one. I read the story of Smith Brothers and how they have high-quality, American made furniture. They use premium materials for a durable style that will last for generations. HA! Emily from Homemakers offered to replace the back pillows for an additional $50.29 per pillow and I would have to pick them up. #1 I refuse to put more of my money into this couch. #2 The back pillows are sewn onto the couch so I don't know how this will help me. I have been in customer all of my adult life and I stand behind my work. I had contacted Smith Brothers and the person that answered the phone asked how I got their number when I told her that Homemakers gave it to me she replied " They are not suppose to do that." When you purchase a piece of furniture they will remove your old furniture for only $10, saving you money on the city's disposal slip. Some suggestions for improvement: Offer cleaning and repair services in the home. I'm not talking full refurbish like Furniture Recovery in Fort Wayne, but small repairs or tears. Create a voicemail for your phone line. I called your store, the phone rang a few times, and then I received a fax sound. When I called your parent store, they insisted I had the right number and explained the sound was because you don't have a voicemail. This fax sound gives people the impression they have the wrong number. New customers may become frustrated and not call back!
