But dang it, Starbucks has become just so convenient lately and this is one of those times. It's 90+ degrees outside and I just can't work from the van when it's like this. This Starbucks is located not too far from the Interstate. I was able to find a good parking space and inside the store, it was lovely and air conditioned. A friendly crew made my drink - I have a new summer favorite - and with a reasonably comfortable seating area, I was here for about two hours for emails and Zoom calls. The store is a little bit loud but there are power outlets around and the wifi works really well. Thanks, Starbucks. I'll still try to drink local but when I can't, here we go. I've got them working on some pickles right now. The tomatoes were so beautiful! My husband and I ate one last night. You can't get tomatoes like this in the grocery store. In the afternoon we bought some yummy housemaid peach ice cream, and sat on the rockers and just enjoyed! The staff there was so friendly; they exuded positivity and southern hospitality!
