My sister and I looked up their hours online which stated 8am-8pm. We arrived around 6:10pm and saw that they were packing up and flipped the sign to "closed". I was distraught! Especially because we drove ~40 miles for the ice cream. I went up to the stand anyway and the workers were nice enough to still serve me. I am very grateful for their kindness and grace!

The breading is thick and maybe a little undercooked. It's not crispy as it should be. I think the ice cream in the cobbler is soft serve vanilla. Never washed them off. In order to verify, I asked the employee, and she confirmed they do not get washed. I definitely understand how soggy strawberries can get after being washed! However, I am very uncomfortable with the idea of not at least rinsing off some of the herbicides, pesticides, dirt, and insects that are on fresh strawberries. I'm sure I'm not alone. Be careful of the fresh berries!
