Fresh produce and stuff...we like that. Service typically good. However, so far, we've tried chicken Alfredo pasta, chicken parm, cheese ravioli, and I want to say spaghetti as well. All of these meals have been beyond bland. It's really disappointing. Our kids eat anything and they wouldn't even touch any of these meals. Little to no seasoning. Love love love this produce stand! Was hiringt up the one in Ponchatoula anytime I was in the area, but now this one is my fave! It's the original, and it's huge! Plus a deli/lunch section and ice cream! I came here one day when the owner was here, and she was sweet enough to answer my questions if curiosity. And she told me that the person who makes my favorite fig and cherry cookies they sell here also makes coconut and snowball ones, so hopefully I'll be able to snag those soon! I frequent this produce quiet often. I never been disappointed until my last purchase last week of January.2023. I spent 40.00 alone just on the Italian cookies. The ones that look like sticks with white icing. Omg hard and when you bite them they crumble. The wedding cookies were so dry and lacking sugar. I love that you the layout is covered but open at the same time. You can enjoy picking your goodies while enjoying the fresh air. They are so much more than a fruit and vegetable spot. They have fresh prepackaged meals, cut up veggies, baked goods and all sorts of natural goodness to choose from. Friendly staff brought out fresh bananas and asked if I needed assistance while I perused the aging strawberry selection. Most produce looked in fine condition. Grounds were clean. There are shaded picnic tables outside if you can't wait to enjoy your lunch from their deli. They'll have boiled crawfish sometimes. Tjey carry a small assortment of specialty sodas. Tons of specialty jams and jellies. They also carry fresh nut butters. Parking can be a bit tedious out front. Recommend parking along the side of the building for ease of access. read more

Bought something made with moonshine, could not drink it because it was straight alcohol. And I mean alcohol you buy from wal-mart. I spent over 25.00 for this, they would not take it back. They are not good at refunds or exchanges or any returns for that matter. So make sure when you buy something you don't care what it taste like or if you like it or not cause your not going to be to exchange it or get a refund. read more

I live in Austin, Texas, and no visit home to see my family is complete without a stop here. I have a variety of pickled vegetables, as well as wine, not to mention a freezer full of produce that I purchased here. I won't be coming to this place of business anymore on account of being racially profiled. I have been here a few times and I haven't had a problem before, but today was different. My girlfriend and I went in for some fruit and being in there no longer than five when we started getting looked at as if we were stealing. We also noticed the workers telling one another to get an eye on us even tho we were not doing anything to make them seem that we were stealing. The poor customer service continued even when we paid the woman at the counter didn't greet us or asked if we found everything ok she didn't say one word to us while at the counter. It's only good for their La strawberries and gift items. The produce isn't local, it's all from California, Mexico and chile which is exactly what you find at Walmart and other grocery stores. Since it's the same gmo laden produce, the prices should be the same as any other store but they're higher. If they would stick to local produce they'd really have something. This year their strawberries were awful. They were tiny and tart and therefore overpriced. Also, their parking situation needs to be addressed. Too little parking and it's obscured by overgrown shrubs. read more
