This interruption directly impacted my professional responsibilities and created a situation that made me appear unprepared and unprofessional in front of a potential client. As a parent and remote worker, I carefully schedule meetings to ensure I can continue earning a living while caring for my child, and having that ignored was extremely frustrating and disrespectful.
