The whole walkway along the water has that perfect "just keep strolling" feel. You get nonstop views of the river, boats passing by, and the skyline stretching out in the distance. It is one of those places where you start walking without a plan and suddenly realize you have gone way farther than you meant to because it just keeps pulling you along. My family and I took our time, stopping every few minutes just to look out at the water or take pictures. The breeze off the river made everything feel cooler and calmer, even with people out and about enjoying the day. There were joggers, families, couples, and everyone just kind of sharing the same peaceful stretch of space. What I liked most is how simple it is. No big attractions needed, just a clean, open riverfront path that lets you slow down and enjoy Jacksonville at your own pace. Five stars. Perfect place to walk, talk, and take in the river views without any stress at all.

We came here for a picnic over the weekend because we simply had to get out of the house during this pandemic while keeping our distance from anyone else at the same time. Stockton Park is more than suitable for checking those boxes. I wish there was a little less road noise, but that's not the fault of the park. Come here when you need a nice little burst of nature.

I happily volunteered to do this for him. It's been a while since I've been here, but nothing much has changed. Still nice and litter free. There were several fishermen and fisher women out on the dock fishing. There were many boaters parked and already out in the water. I also saw a lot of Kayak activities of people coming and going out in to the St. John's River. Pros:beautiful trees and scenery, it's peaceful here, lots of fish in the water and birds singing and flying around. They have a huge pool here. They also have some tennis courts as well. Cons:they could use more places for the non boaters to sit and enjoy the river and dock. The dock on has hand rails on the left side facing North. The pool looked like it might need some attention(Shocking the pool and chlorine).

It's not what it used to be, but Arlington has a lot to offer residents and visitors alike. I am going to post a few informative pictures, in case you need to put your boat in the water for a day of fun, skiing and or fishing. The dock goes all the way from Blue Cypress Park and dock to here. As far as anyone who might be handicapped, I believe they could go the 1/2 mile or so(on the dock)with out any problems. They also have several picnic tables with Gazebos over them to protect you from the extreme sunlight. They also have several information tablets to read about the Manatees. Thanks going out to the Lion's Club, who makes this ramp and park possible. Thank you.

The whole riverfront area has that peaceful but still lively feel where you can just walk around, sit down, and watch the water for a while without feeling rushed. The view of the river is honestly the highlight, wide open water, boats passing by, and that calm breeze that makes everything feel slower in a good way. My family and I just wandered around, grabbed a few snacks, and found a spot to sit and people watch. There is something about being right on the water that makes even doing nothing feel like a good time. Kids were running around, couples were taking pictures, and everyone just seemed relaxed. It was clean, easy to get around, and had plenty of space so it never felt overcrowded even with people out enjoying the day. Five stars for a simple but perfect riverfront experience. It's $5 to fish…read moreor $2 to walk the pier but you can buy an annual pass if you're a local who visits frequently and they'll give you a ticket that lets you come and go that day if you buy a one day admission. Lots of great fishing a spots and places to sit at the benches and picnic tables. They also have restrooms and a stand that sells snacks and some fishing supplies. It's the best place in town to get a view of the beach and the ocean and I'll be back when I'm in town again.

Just a nice little park with great seabreeze. The road leading in does flood with high rains/high tide- keep that in mind. Very nice park to watch boats coming in and out.
