Worst service ever. These people spent more than a week replacing a battery that had just been replaced in April. Told me I could pick it up today. Got a ride to the dealership. After searching for my car for about 15 minutes, guess what? It wouldn't start. They were going to have the technician look at over this afternoon to see what the problem is. That was hours ago. Have I heard anything? No I have not. This is also a recurring issue with this dealership. They never contact me to let me know what the issue is and when I call someone is always going to call back. Their fast and eddy oil change took 1 1/2 hours from my scheduled appointment and I arrived 20 minutes early, so 1 hour and 50 minutes. Where I come from that isn't fast or speedy. I also had a free oil change and tire rotation , but had to pay almost $300 for some additive, which only cost $15, but they charged $10 labor. HUGE WASTE OF TIME! These people are PROFESSIONAL LIARS. THEIR PRICES ARE TOO HIGH! THEY OFFER RIDICULOUSLY LOW TRADE-IN VALUES. THEY HAVE NO SCRUPLES! THEY HAVE NO DECENCY! I drove down from McAllen for the "Black Friday" sale. What a joke! Nothing but overpriced vehicles as far as the eye could see. We sat there in a completely empty showroom for two hours. Finally, the so-called "sales manager" a guy named Robert, told me that they only had two vehicles with special pricing, both were hideous. He then tried to low-ball me on my trade in. The vehicle he tried to sell me was WAY OVERPRICED. When I asked to see the invoice, he gave me a song and dance about how they have the best prices in the Valley, but he wouldn't show me the invoice. When I refused the deal he offered, he promised to get back to me with better numbers the next day. I never heard back from Robert, but I did receive a call from a woman claiming to be the "sales director." She told me that the General Manager had approved my terms, and that they would meet the monthly amount I was willing to pay. It was ALL A LIE! We drove back down again the next day and sat in the same empty showroom for another two hours, only to have the so-called "finance manager" come out and offer us the exact same deal I had already refused. Took my car in and told them the issues I was having, explained to them what the AutoZone check engine computer had found. They said they would do a diagnostic test and let me know. It took them 2 weeks to tell me the same thing I had already told them. They also broke my emergency park button and did not want to take responsibility for it. I've had the most difficult time getting information/ getting the process going in my vehicle I got towed here over a MONTH ago. My service advisor is Arleth Trevino and at first she was easy to get in contact with and great about updating me, but now it's impossible to get a call back about what's going on with my vehicle. It's so frustrating because now my insurance has closed my claim, my job is on the line and the quality of the customer service is horrible. They've been giving me the run around this whole time saying they have done what has been asked, telling me they were waiting for an insurance inspector when in reality they hadn't even diagnosed my car yet. Just wanted to share my experience with the parts department today. I called for a molar part needed for flat towing a 2015 Cherokee as per the user manual and FCA documents. The guy told me it was discontinued. Which is bs. Didn't even want the TSB number I had for it. Not at all interested in going beyond to investigate. I went to don johnson. Part will be here in 4-6 days and they will install. I tried to call a manager at Ogden to complain but never got an answer. So my advice---go to don johnson read more

A year ago I drove my 1996 Dodge Caravan to The Valley from New York. Recently it developed a couple of minor issues requiring service. Not knowing anyone locally, I thought the dealer would be my best choice for fixing the issues. I went to their website and it allowed me to make an appointment without issue. When I arrived for the appointment the intake lady promptly informed me dealer policy is not to work on anything more than 10 years old or more than 100,000 miles. So why does the website allow me to make an appointment for a vehicle more than 10 years old? I wrote a complaint on the "Contact Us" link on the website. No response. I'm forced to conclude this dealership is elitist, has no qualms about wasting people's time and feels no responsibility to respond to inquiries. Further, I believe one can infer from their policy that they are not well capacitated to work on cars needing anything more complicated than an oil change. I used to like this place when service was great. Took my car for an oil change and well the following day my car overheated and left me stranded. I thought well my be they overlooked something. So I called and wanted to check on my warranty and I was advise they were going to charge me 135.00 to check my vehicle regardless of the extended warranty I purchased. Like a idiot I went to Bert Odgen in Harlingen to purchase a new vehicle. But the salespersons at this place weren't interest in my business. So I took it to Ed Payne in Weslaco. I got a new truck and drove it home the same day. The time I spent at Ed Payne was minimal compared to Bert Odgen and the terms were Payne less. read more

Come to find out from my husband, the battery is 8 months old. He took it to Auto Zone to have it checked, still under warranty. The battery is fine! Horrible service, I bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler JL 2019 had only 16 miles and it stopped on me a couple of times after getting to 2000 miles and it wouldn't turn back on. Took it to the service department and they had it for 3 days, in between those 3 days i had called and asked about my jeep all they said was," we will call you back with updates on your jeep". I didn't hear from them until the third day and I requested to speak with a manager and he said they are still trying to figure out the problem, later on that day my girlfriend called and they said they repaired the fuel pump and that the jeep was ready. I went to go pick it up and it stopped on me again so now its back in there again. Its been 1 week since they have been working on my jeep. I would call and the same thing again.. They never returned my call. So I went to Bert Ogden and my jeep is just sitting in the back they were not even working on it. I am so upset and not satisfied with their service. read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever! I brought my 2012 Jeep in to have a heater issue repaired. It was an issue Jeep has had with a few engines in which the coolant turns to gel and clogs the entire cooling system, mainly the heater core. They had to replace the heater core, radiator and all hoses. It took 13 days to complete the repair! When I picked up the vehicle it was low on coolant and there were 2 dents in the cowling near the radio antenna. I had to ask to speak to a manager before anyone admitted it was the dealerships fault for the dents. The coolant level was adjusted and I was sent away with an appointment to return to have the dents repaired. In the meantime I discovered missing push pins that held trim in place, broken parts in the center console and misplaced padding. There is no oversight of the mechanics work and some employees act as if they just want you to leave and not bother them. Avoid them at all cost! They use "Dale Gas" as a slogan in their TV commercials and I believe the translation in english is "Sell it don't service it." read more

Worst experience to date. My 2015 Ram 1500 ecodiesel broke down at 10,5xx miles so I had it towed to the dealership. It has been sitting on the lot for over a month now and I have yet to see any urgency with my case on the dealerships behalf. They could not tell me exactly what happened just that they found a few red flags within the engine and that it needed a completely new motor. Took my Sonata in for alternator repair as 1 bolt broken & other missing nut. Replaced alternator & belt for $650. Less than 2 months later heard squealing noise & shop in my home town discovered alternator bolt loose which they tightened & squealing gone. Called BO Hyundai service & left message for service mgr who did not return call. Other issue I had was that I asked for a detailed layman s description of what they did on original repair. I was trying to get shop, who installed that other alternator, to refund my expense for replacement as BO tech said the bolt must have been torqued down wrong to break & nut should not have come off other bolt....total failure in workmanship. BO refused to do this. I was NOT asking them to lie, but just explain everything. I contacted Hyundai corp & they said to talk to regional service mgr by getting local service mgr to set it up. It has been 6 weeks & local service mgr has done nothing. Meanwhile, I m considering buying a new Sonata for my wife & guess who is NOT on my list of potential dealers ? read more
